"Yeah, how about we come up with some kind of back stories for our new...characters?"Fylec's ear prick up at the sounds of this idea."Oh hell yes! How's about, for my character, I've been looking into the magic's of the land and have decided to find the monk's of a certain order so that I can obtain the mightiest of healing magic?"General Mood nods in agreement of Fylec's characters back story."Oh, then I'll be a travelling Bard that has been through some shit. Like, in jail and losing relatives kinda guy?"The others look skeptically at him as he doesn't really give away much of his characters back story."Well, you're going to need more than that Mood.""Oh. Really? What do you have in mind for your character then, Jokesum?""Okay, but be prepared to tune up your back story Mood."As Jokesum reclines in the office chair, fighting still happening in the background, as his group chuckle then listen to him."As a red skinned child, my Tiefling had been outcast by all of society until a kindly old man took my character in at the young age of four. After a few years, though the old man had treated him like a son, the young tiefling had found himself alone once again due to the old man's passing away. Down in the dumps, treated badly by others thanks to his skin and now very protruding horns, the tiefling found a deep dark cave. Little did he know, but this cave belonged to a dark lord."Enthralled by the story of Jokesum's character so far, his group nod at each other and listen intently."The dark lord took in this young tiefling, teaching him how to cast spells of destruction and summon powers beyound his age. That is when, at the age of...I don't know, what's a young age?"Jokesum looks towards General Mood, who shrugs."I don't know, like twenty-five?""Sure, at the age of twenty-five, with the dark lord informing him that he must traverse the world and perform his will, does the young tiefling leave the dark cave. Stinking to the high skies of putridness and grossness, he ventures out into the nearby town."Berd looks around at his group, then nods towards Jokesum with a thumbs-up."Wow, that's some kick-ass back story! Damn, dude!""Oh, thanks Berd. You want to go next?"Clearing his throat and clicking his neck, Berd prepares himself to begin his story."Okay, as my character is an Ogre, he would have had a childhood that had him fighting for his life. His Father would have been trying to eat him, boars and bears would have tried to kill him as well."He stops and sees if his friends are enthralled as he was, they look at him expectantly."Okay, good start dude.""Thanks Fylec. Anywho, he would have learnt to fight bare handed and with weapons from a young age. As his family would have thought that he had died in the wild, my character would be looking for a way to find himself."The Force smiles towards him as he stops, a flaming laser bursts past their heads and hits the wall behind."Oh, he could also be on a quest to find an artifact!""Fylec, you had your chance. But, I do like that idea yeah I'll go with that."Nodding towards his friend the fighting in front of themselves has stopped as Matt Dank rejoins them."Okay, I think we're done here.""Oh, wow! That's a lot of damage!"Chuckling while looking at the entrance to the building, he then turns back to the group."Well, General and co, I believe you can all go back to your reality now."They look amongst themselves, wondering which reality he means."As in, you don't need our help anymore?""Well, seeing as though this reality isn't suited to your original forms, you may as well head back to yours and have a use...sorry, that sounded worse than I meant."Though it did sound like they weren't needed because they cannot do anything, the group chuckle slightly and nod."Alright, well I'm sorry that we couldn't help you with this last one.""Don't worry about it, Jokesum. Your group made a difference in battle.""Hell yeah we did, especially Mood and his lute-ness!""Thanks Fylec, but your prowess with calming being really helped in the Floating Isle's South end."They shake each others hands and smile as suddenly the entrance repairs itself and Father Time appears."Hello again, Hunter's Guild. I have been overhearing your conversation, about your characters. You all seem to have some idea of how to gain more from that reality, this is intriguing to me."Berd chimes up."Do you just appear whenever you feel like?""Of course, being the Father of Time grants me certain qualities that I can use to my favour."Matt Dank nods towards Father Time, then the group, as he goes into a teleporter and is no longer seen wihin the entrance."So, would we be able to go back to our own reality?""Hmm, the portals in space have not stopped. It is doubtful that, right now, you could be in your own reality. I'm sorry, you will have to go through the reality that you were in before. Though, after you went through the portal. The medieval one, you know?"He stands there, palms outwards, looking at each group member and trying to get them to understand where he is coming from. Jokesum chuckles slightly then nods towards him."Yeah, we get what you meant. Sorry, I just had to see you struggling for any kind of response for a little while. Ha ha!"Though Jokesum begins laughing, Father Time frowns slightly before shaking his head with a smile."So, as I'm the mechanic behind the flow of time, when can I send you to?"Berd and Fylec throw looks at each other, then General Mood speaks up."I think...when our friend Rico arrived in that reality!""Hmm, I think I know who you mean. Wears red, not much else to them other than that?"The group all nod towards him."Alright, seems like a great idea. Though, words of warning to begin with; you will have to meet up with each other. You will be wherever you had thought that your character was and you won't know anyone that you know now."The group look at each other, the situation dawns upon themselves that this will be their group starting over again. They all nod then smile at each other, as long as they've known each other they're gotten along."New beginnings guys, we're good to go right?""See you guys real soon, don't change your personalities!"General Mood looks towards his Android friend, Jokesum and smirks slightly."This is going to be a tough one, but you've got this Jokesum.""You too Mood, catch you guys on the flip-flop!"Looking at the group with a raised eyebrow, Father Time then shakes his head and generates a blinding light that fills the room until all five of them are floating within the white space."Good luck to you all and...try to have fun out there!"The Hunter's Guild all chuckle as slowly their entire beings merge into the whiteness.
The End.
