𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝘁𝗵 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟲

Todays the day of my first scan it's been 3 weeks since I found out I was pregnant and since I was kicked out it's only took 3 weeks to get an appointment because I'm a 17 year old girl who's pregnant and her parents want nothing to do with her so I asked Annie to help me make an appointment for the scan which she did I'm thankful to have Annie,nova and Craig I told them that I'm saving up to get an apartment which I got a job 2 weeks ago at the florist downtown and another job in the supermarket which they are both decent paying jobs so I'm paying a little rent as well as saving up for a place to live I've also gotta get baby supplies in a few months so it's gonna be tough considering I've literally just turned 17 a few days ago nova's family tried to make it as special as possible, I've dropped out of school because I'm really busy I don't see the point in it anyway considering I'll be having a baby in 9 months Annie , Craig and nova tried to talk me out of it but I just said I need to give up school and get a job

"Layla hunny are you ready" Annie asks me
"yeah I am you don't have to take me I'll be okay to catch the bus I got myself into this situation so I'll be alright I promise Annie" I say
lLayla I don't mind helping you and your already working two different jobs to get a place to stay so let me take you to your appointment" she says
I nod "thank you so much Annie" i say hugging her

"Your welcome my sweetheart your like a second daughter to me you and nova are literally like sisters" she says smiling

Me Annie and nova get In the car and drive to the clinic I tell the receptionist my name and date of birth and what I'm there for I can see the look of disappointment on her face when she gives me the directions to the maternity ward Annie and nova are in the waiting room with me I'm nervous I'm biting my lip I can feel all of the other women in this waiting room staring at me I feel Annie wrap her arms around "it will be okay Layla don't worry you've got me ,nova and Craig well always be there for you" I smile slightly were sat in the waiting room talking until the doctor calls me in we all follow her in i listen to her tell me all about what my pregnancy should be like from now on that is until she asks about the father of my child I tell her I don't have any way of contacting him she looks at me with a look of pity then she leads me over to the bed and I lift my shirt as she says it will be a bit cold she puts the gel on my abdomen

She starts moving the wand as soon as she's got it in the perfect place I hear a heart beat I look at the monitor and see a small blob as soon as I heard that little thumping and saw that little blob I knew I made the right choice I feel tears fall from my eyes "is my baby okay" I ask in a whisper "yeah baby is okay it has a strong healthy heartbeat and everything looks normal so I'll just print the scan pictures if you want them?" The doctor reply's
"Yes please can I have two copy's please" I ask
"Yes you can I'll be right back so you can wipe the gel off and take a seat and I'll be right back to discuss your next appointment" she says I nod and she walks out as I wipe the gel off I take a seat in the middle of Annie and nova
"Your little bean is perfect Layla we told you it'd all be okay" Annie says
"I'm gonna be an auntie to an amazing baby" nova says Hugging me

A few minutes later the doctor returns she then tells me that I'm 4 and a half weeks pregnant and that I'm due another scan at 6 weeks so she's booked that in for the 4th of November at 2pm we say our good byes then nova says we should go to a baby shop for baby's first outfit

"We don't even know the gender yet" I say laughing
"We could always get something gender neutral" Annie says
"Yeah thanks for agreeing mom" nova says high-fiving her
"Well I'd love to I just can't I have a shift soon" I say
"We'll be quick please" nova says which makes Annie laugh
"Okay fine" I chuckle we pull up outside a baby shop we go in I pick up a baby vest that says I own mommy's heart so I decide to get that then we pay and Annie drops me off at the florist I work my shift here that I have from 12-3pm then I have to go to the supermarket later for my shift there from 4-9pm once I finish my shifts i go back to novas shower eat some leftovers that Annie cooks for me and then I head to bed that's basically my routine everyday
