Me and the cast are at a beach in Charleston where we're back here for filming season 2 of outer banks we decided to have a relaxing day at the beach so I'm sat next to Madelyn , chase and drew while opposite me is Austin, Jonathan and Maddison we haven't met the new cast members yet as they haven't been cast yet ,

recently I've been thinking about that night in Ibiza with Layla , I honestly don't know why it keeps running through my head the way it does but it's constantly on my brain

I'm in the middle of talking to Jonathan about Mario cart when I see a small blond girl who's no older then one or two running after a small bird I smile as she's adorable I continue my conversation with jd I see a young girl who's got to be at least eighteen or nineteen calling out after the small girl

Maisie don't run that far away from mommy the stranger says running after her
That girl is the child's mom she looks so young she's my age atleast she must have had a baby young

"so are we all going to cline's apartment later" drew says breaking me out of my thoughts a chorus of yeahs and let's have a great night" as im looking towards the sea i see the girl walk away from the little girl slightly

"How do you think filming's gonna go" i say
"I think it will be okay when they find someone to play Cleo & Juliette because that's the only thing slowing this filming down" chase says laying down next to cline
We continue talking an having a laugh with each other until I say I'm going to grab a drink which I do from the beach store as I'm coming back I bump into the girl which is someone I never knew I'd see again on a beach in Charleston two years later in that moment I completely forgot

"Rudy" layla says speechless as she kept peeking over to where the little girl is

"Hi Layla It's been So long" i say with a smile
" it has" she says
"Well come meet my friends" i say lightly pulling her over to the group
"Hi I'm Layla" she says still looking towards the girl
"Hey" they all say and introduce themselves
"Rudy I need to tell you something" she whispers in my ear just as the little girl comes running up to to her shouting "mommy look what I found"

"What is it princess" Layla says when she gets to her
"it's a seashell it's pretty just like you" she says
"aww thank you baby" layla says kissing her cheek
She then runs off back to where she was i was so caught up in that moment I forgot about how the little girl called her mommy earlier

"You have a daughter?" I  say looking at her then the little girl
She laughs "well I need to speak to you in private could you guys watch Maisie" she asks the group.
"Yeah that's cool"  they all agree
"Thanks" she says grabbing my hand pulling me  over to where I'm guessing her and her daughters stuff is

"Rudy i really need to tell you something but I don't know how you'll react but promise me you won't get mad" layla says

"I promise Layla what is it how do you have a daughter"  i say

"I'm gonna explain that to you but firstly i did want to tell you but I couldn't contact you Maisie is your daughter remember how we had that summer fling together in Ibiza in two years ago well after we slept together when I got back here I missed my period and was throwing up In the mornings it wasn't great my best friend nova made me do a test just to be on the safe side and rule that out but I was pregnant I really did want to tell you but I couldn't contact you at all because I didn't have any contact details I tried to find you everywhere but I couldn't so eventually I just gave up I never thought I would see you again"
"I'm glad I found you again I really want Maisie to have her father in her life I haven't dated or even slept with anybody since i found out I was pregnant with mais yeah my parents was pissed but I knew I had to have my baby I was growing in my stomach I know it wasn't the best timing in life especially with you not knowing but I am sorry I tried I promise" Layla tells me with tears in her eyes
