I wake up to Maisie calling me through the baby monitor I feel an arm wrapped around my waist I rub my eyes I see arm draped around my waist I look up and see that me and Rudy were cuddling I slowly untangle myself without waking him up I slowly walk down the hallway to mine and Maisie's room

Hey baby I say picking her up from her crib where she was sat down looking up at me how'd you sleep princess I ask her kissing her cheek

Good mommy is dada still here? She asks me
Yeah he is baby we fell asleep watching tv baby I say grabbing her clothes and taking her to the bathroom change her diaper and brush her teeth and change her I brush her hair and put it in pigtails

She's wearing a white shirt and shorts after I've dressed her I brush my teeth and pick her back up we walk into the living room when I check the time I see it's 10:30 on Wednesday which's means it's the day nova comes and takes Maisie for a day out so she can have some "aunt & niece time" as she calls it

Mommy is auntie nova gonna take me to park today? Maisie asks
Yeah baby I say making her a bowl of cereal I put her in her highchair and put the bowl infront of her

while she's eating Rudy comes walking in to the kitchen rubbing his eyes

Hey cupcake he says walking over to me
Hi ru do you want some breakfast I ask
Dada you silly momma not a cupcake Maisie says confused which makes Rudy and me chuckle
I know baby he tells her
Yeah I'll have some breakfast if that's okay Layla if you want I'll make us some breakfast and watch Maisie while you get dressed

Okay thanks nova will be here to get Maisie soon anyway I tell him

Nova and Maisie go for a day out every other Wednesday I tell him

Me too now go get dressed Ward I'll make you breakfast he calls out jokingly
I get to my room I grab my clothes for the day I take a quick shower after I've showered I brush my teeth

I put on my clothes which consist of some swimwear and a cropped green jumper and black jean shorts along with my sandals I run the hair brush through my hair and don't bother with makeup

I'm walking down the hall when I hear Maisie ask Rudy a question
Dada you wove mommy and mew

Yeah I do baby I love you always and I love your mommy too so much he says

He just admitted to our one and a half year old daughter that he loves me? I heard that right or am I just tripping over what I'd like to hear

I walk into the kitchen just as Rudy places a bowl of very chocolatey cereal down infront of me he looks up to me with a cheeky smile

He knew all this time that chocolate cereal was my favourite breakfast

Me Rudy and Maisie all finish our food and Rudy wipes Maisie's face and hands with the baby wipes from her diaper bag while I wash the dishes I make Maisie a juice just as the is a knock at the door Rudy goes to open it while I give Maisie her juice

Hey baby daddy nova says to Rudy just as she walks in after he steps aside
He laugh as he says hi he closes the door as nova says hi to me hey I say to her soon as Maisie sees nova she runs to her

Auntie novi Maisie screams happily which makes me and Rudy smile as nova picks her up
Maisie moo nova says kissing her cheek as she looks over to me with her eyes she mouths we need to have a conversation asap I laugh and nod
Okay what you doing today Layls nova says putting Maisie down
Well I'm going out with my baby daddy I say laughing at her nickname for Rudy he laughs also
