As we finished our delicious meal, her family suddenly had to attend a wedding, and aunt and uncle got ready to leave. My girlfriend took my hand and led me towards the living room, upstairs beside her bedroom. There, we settled onto the sofa and decided to watch a comedy horror movie together.
As we laughed at the funny scenes unfolding on the screen, my heart raced even faster. My girlfriend sat unusually close to me, leaning her head on my shoulder. I couldn't help but wonder if this was all real or just a sweet dream. Overwhelmed with emotions, I summoned the courage to hold her hand.
