Ava couldn't help but chuckle as she brushed her teeth, trying to keep the toothpaste from spilling out with her smile. "You saw that, huh?" she replied, glancing at the phone where Sarah's face lit up with excitement.

"Yeah! I've got a VPN on my tablet, so I can get all the New York gossip," Sarah exclaimed with enthusiasm. "You were absolutely kickass, Ava! 'Call Me Aurum'—we should totally make merch!" She spun the phone around, and Ava could picture her friend pretending to kick and punch around her dorm room.

Ava rinsed her mouth, still amused by Sarah's excitement. "Merch, huh? I don't think I'm popular enough for that."

Sarah's eyes widened, and she quickly waved off Ava's modesty. "Are you kidding? You're a real-life superhero! People are talking about you all over the city. 'Call Me Aurum' is already becoming a thing!"

Ava chuckled, feeling a mix of pride and disbelief. "I guess it's hard to hide when you can fly around the city in a golden suit," she said with a hint of amusement.

Sarah grinned. "Exactly! And you know what they say, 'With great power comes great merchandising opportunities.'"

Ava couldn't help but laugh. "Okay, okay, you've got a point. But let's focus on doing good first. Making a difference is more important than merch."

Sarah nodded, her excitement still evident in her eyes. "Of course, but we can do both, right?"

Ava grabbed her phone, "Eventually, Sar." She laughed, moving to her closet to find an outfit.

"Okayyy! Fine! So, more about this Peter-" Sarah said

"He is just a friend, Sar! I've barely known him for a week." Ava rolled her eyes playfully, going through a rack of clothes. She flipped the camera around on her call, showing Sarah two outfit options.

Sarah's eyes sparkled mischievously. "Uh-huh, just a friend," she teased, clearly enjoying Ava's reaction. "But you have to admit, he seems pretty into you."

Ava blushed, trying to hide her embarrassment. "Stop it, Sar. We're just getting to know each other."

"Sure, sure," Sarah said playfully. "But you can't deny the chemistry. Anyway, back to the more important stuff – definitely the skirt. No boy can resist your legs-"

Ava's eyes widened at Sarah's comment, and she playfully shook her head, trying not to laugh. "Sarah! You're impossible," she exclaimed, pretending to be exasperated.

Sarah just grinned mischievously, unapologetic. "Hey, I'm just stating the truth. You've got killer legs, and that skirt will make Peter's jaw drop."

Ava rolled her eyes, still blushing but secretly appreciating the compliment. "Alright, alright, you win. Skirt it is," she relented, holding up the mentioned skirt to show it on the video call.

"Oh, yes, that's the one!" Sarah confirmed with a nod. "You're going to look amazing."

The school hallways were bustling with students, and Ava navigated through the crowd, exchanging greetings and smiles with her friends as she made her way to her locker. Liz and Michelle were waiting for her there, their eyes lighting up when they spotted her.

"Hey, Ava!" Liz called out, waving her over. "How's your morning going?"

Ava smiled back, "It's been good so far, just the usual school stuff."

Just then, her phone pinged with a text from Sarah, "Good luck with the rest of the day, superhero! You got this! ❤️" Ava chuckled at her friend's playful encouragement and quickly sent a thank-you emoji in response.
