"Rio, this is Nevaeh, Amaya's kid" Aaron said as he introduced the girl to the woman,

"Good morning, Mrs Morales" Nevaeh smiled,

"Oh, hello Nevaeh, how's summer treating you" She smiled warmly,

"I don't really know, I'm at home most of time" She smiled bashfully,

"What, No" she gasped,

"Don't you have any friends?" She asked,

"Oh, they don't live around here" Nevaeh answered,

The they was actually a she, Nevaeh had only one best friend, Janelle who was residing in Queens,

"That's gotta be bad, Aaron, did you hear that, she doesn't have any friends here in Brooklyn" Rio yelled out,

"I was thinking of inviting her to the birthday party tomorrow if it's fine with you" Aaron told Rio,

"Oh, of course, you have to come, Nevaeh and you can't refuse, there'll be cake, and it's going to be very small because Miles hates people, please say yes" Rio smiled,

"Uhmm sure, I'll come" Nevaeh smiled awkwardly as she tried to cover her bracelet which just started beeping,

"I gotta go, I'll come by later to drop off a gift, bye Mrs Morales, bye Mr Davis" she yelled out as she ran out of the room,

"I like her, she doesn't call me by my first name, unlike some people I know" Rio smiled,

"She's a good kid, stop throwing shade at Gwen while you're at it" Aaron stated,

"But it's the truth" Rio shrugged,

"She was white, Rio, what did you expect?" Aaron said as he let out an exasperated sigh,

The good kid had been busy for about two weeks now,

Fixing and upgrading the prowler suit so it would be ready by the third of August,

Which happened to be tomorrow and Aaron's nephew's birthday,

And she had gathered so much information and she was sure that he was the one her mother intended to give the suit to,

She had to go home and figure out how exactly she was going to give it to him,

Just after she got a gift that she could present at the party,

NEXT DAY

Nevaeh took in a deep breath as she walked up the steps to the house,

Everything had gone according to plan,

Now, she was finding it very difficult to knock at the door,

So she watched from the window,

It was blurry but it was good enough for her,

Aaron and Rio called a couple of times but she let it ring out,

She watched everything till the party ended and it was time for him to receive his gifts,

She couldn't see clearly but she could hear just right,

His voice and accent could make any woman weak in the knees and her knees were feeling pretty weak already,

"Who's N.K.R?" He asked as Rio handed him the gift Nevaeh had gotten for him,

"A well-wisher" Aaron answered as Miles ripped off the wrapping paper, opening the box,
