"Paris, the next time I get called to your school again, I'm going to deny your existence" Nevaeh said as she served the girl salad from the mixing bowl,

"The bitch started it" Paris yelled,

"Paris, mind your language around your sister" Miles mumbled as he ate,

"I'm just saying, it's not my fault" Paris groaned as she slouched in her seat,.

"No slouching" Miles said as she groaned,

"Well, I'm saying there are peaceful resolutions to misunderstandings" Nevaeh said as she took her seat,

Paris dropped her fork on the plate,

"First of all mama, it wasn't a misunderstanding, it was a fight, and secondly, I prefer violence, it's faster and easier" She said,

"Violence, yay" Tara yelled,

"Exactly, at least someone gets it" Paris huffed as she shoved some food into her mouth,

"Paris, you still need to work on your behavior and your reactions to actions" Nevaeh said as she took her seat,

"I believe that I have pretty normal reactions to every situation" Paris smiled, swelling with pride,

Tara gave her a bombastic side eye,

"Well, to be fair, the girl did start the fight, Paris only finished it" Rayven shrugged,

"What are you even doing here? Don't you have a home or something? You're literally always here" Miles stated,

"Miles, be nice" Nevaeh whispered  in Spanish,

"Well, Miss Rivera said I could stay the night and my parents were cool with me sleeping over so..." Rayven shrugged,

"You mean Mrs Morales?" Miles said,

"I ain't calling her that till you put a ring on it" Rayven said loudly,

Miles sighed and looked at Nevaeh who playfully looked away,

"The girl does have a point though" She grinned in a whiny voice, leaving Miles defenseless in the hotseat,

"Yeah, like just wife her already" Paris groaned, rolling her eyes,

"What are you waiting for?" Rayven commented,

"YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO" Tara sang,

"Damn, you too ma?" Miles laughed,

"Okay, that's enough, shut the hell up and eat your food" Nevaeh laughed,

"Why are you eating like that?" Paris asked her sister after takinv a long time to stare at the girl,

"Like how?" She asked,

"How did you get hurt?" Paris asked her,

"I... I don't know what you're talking about" Tara answered after a long pause,

Paris got up and walked to her sister, grabbing her hand as she pulled the sleeve of the girl's top higher to reveal a nasty looking bruise on her fair skin,
