The rays of light shot through the open window greeting her tightly shut eyes,

"Mamí" Miles chuckled as he left the window side, going to sit on the bed as she rolled over,

"Happy birthday, Vivi" He smiled,

"Mi amor" He mumbled as he laid kisses on her lips,

"Nghh" she groaned softly, pushing him away,

"Mi vida, the love of my life" He chuckled, kissing her forehead,

"I wanna sleep, Zay" She groaned, rolling away from him,

"Mamí, wake up" He laughed as he got in bed with her, pulling her closer to him,

Nevaeh turned to face him, her head leaning into his chest and her leg wrapping around his waist,

"Okay, for real Nevaeh, get up" He whispered, giving her soothing back rubs as he talked,

"Can't we just stay in bed for like five more minutes" She whispered as her eyes fluttered open,

"No, we've got places to be, get up" He said as he smacked her ass playfully,

"Suit yourself" Nevaeh said as she detached herself from him, moving over to cuddle the duvet instead,

"Nevaeh" Mikes groaned,

"No" Nevaeh yelled,

"This is so frustrating" He groaned,

"Just get up, damn it" He yelled,

"No" She giggled in a childish voice,

Nevaeh loved to make him mad intentionally,

The look on his face just gave her so much joy,

Miles let out a loud sigh,

"There'll be cake and ice cream" He added,

"Oh, Aight" Nevaeh said as she jumped off the bed,

"That's what it took?" He sighed in frustration,

"Muahhh, I'll be ready in an hour" She grinned, kissing his cheek,

"The fuck you need an hour for?" He asked,

Nevaeh halted in her tracks,

She turned around, placing her hands on her hips and eyed him,

"I'm high maintenance, you should know that, mi amor" She said before entering the bathroom,

"I'll be back in thirty" Miles called after her as she slammed the bathroom door,
