It was a Monday night when Alexx had decided to take Ziva to a restaurant. It was a nice one just at the outskirts of the town.
One that he saved up for months, before he knew Tommy was gonna come back. Alexx  wanted to confess to Ziva before he did. Because even in those pretend dating, for him, it had felt real. And he wanted it to last as long as he could.

Alexx thought there was a chance for them to start dating for real. The gazes they shared between one another, the subtle touches, the way they could predict what the other was going to say sometimes. It was more than something fake. He couldn't deny it anymore.

So, Alexx picked Ziva up from her house. He drove in the car he had borrowed from his father. The boy had been feeling giddy ever since his fake girlfriend stepped in the car.

"Are we there yet?"

It had been the fifth time Ziva had asked the same question.

Alexx shook his head for the fifth time, chuckling to himself, glancing at his friend in the seat next to him.

After tonight she'll be mine, was the only thing running through Alexx's head. It was something he looked forward to. He couldn't help but imagine what her expressions would be like. How she would answer him. Tell him she also hid her feelings for him. The teenage boy felt too giddy, almost unable to keep it in himself.

"Are we there yet?"

Alexx shook his head. "You know," he started. "We're not going to arrive earlier with your asking every minute."
He turned his head to look at his friend, chuckling as she visibly pouted, a frown visible on her face. He thought she looked too adorable for her own good. He just wanted to pinch her glowing, smooth cheeks.

"Can I at least know where we're going?" Ziva huffed, crossing her arms. It was Monday, she was tired from school and doing her homework. All Alexx had told Ziva was to dress nicely and he'll pick her up. She would be lying if she said she wasn't feeling giddy about this whole thing. She did felt nervous though, for some reason. She began tapping her foot, unsure where they were going. But, at least she was dressed nicely in a creamy white sundress. She had worn her hair in big faux locs, putting charms in here and there to compliment her hair even better.
The teenage girl had even stole her mother's ivory patent leather slingbacks from Prada. And of course, she couldn't resist grabbing a matching purse with that.

"Well," Alexx sighed. "Here's the problem." He took his eyes off the road once again, turning to look at the girl next to him. Though, he quickly focused back on the road. "It wouldn't be a complete surprise if you knew. Cause, it would, you know, defy the word and meaning of surprise."

Ziva rolled her eyes. Obviously, Alexx was getting a kick out of it. "Well can I at least know why? Or will that also ruin the surprise?"

That made Alexx shrug. He really didn't want to say it in the car. But, seeing her next to him, being as nervous and giddy as him; Alexx couldn't help it. Screw it, he thought. Perfect moments don't exist. You create them.

"Ziva.." Alex nervously clenched his fists on his thigh, before letting it rest on Ziva's. The girl flinched, feeling taken back. Though, it shouldn't have surprised her. They have touched each other. After all, they were close. But, this felt different. Too different.

"I've gotta confess something," Alexx sighed, not knowing where to begin. He should've prepared better.

"Oh God, what have you done? I won't get mad," Ziva's eyes widened as big as they could as she thought about what was so bad that Alexx wanted to take her somewhere, having her wear nice clothes. "Did you.. murder someone?" She then asked. "Are we going to hide the body right now? Please give me a reason as why to you for me nicely dressed do bury a body, right now," Ziva rambled, massaging her nose bridge. She felt a head ache growing.
