Shobhana pov

It's been weird lately. Unlike before Shubman doesn't contact me much nowadays.

Before he used to call and check on me every day whether he had practice or not. But no calls recently.  It rarely comes. No texts either.

But Ishan, Abhay and kriti along with Sundar and Meena are still in contact.  I get a call or a text.

I'm not sure if I did something wrong or not but I am worried. I can't risk losing him.

It's already August 31st. Time has flown by and in a few days, it's Shubman's birthday.  He is turning 20.

Just then I received a call from Ishan.

"Hello," I answered. "Shobhana,  listen carefully," he spoke.

"Ha tell me, " I answered.

" Shubman's birthday is coming na? So we have planned a surprise party for him. Unfortunately on Abhay's birthday, we have practice so we will celebrate both their birthdays together, "he spoke

"That sounds good, " I answered.

"I know.  Because I made the plan, " he snickered as I rolled my eyes.

"Any way you book a ticket and try to be here on that day. He would feel very happy, " he spoke as I smiled.

"Of course, " I answered.

"Acha okay I got to go, I'll talk later, " he answered before ending the call.

What do I buy for him though?

He never told me what he likes. Sighing I open my laptop to first book a ticket. Thankfully I found one and instantly booked it.

"Hey, Susan!" I yelled from my room.  "Yeah? " she yelled back.

"What did you give James for his birthday? " I exclaimed

"A photo of us framed and a watch! "

"Okay, thanks!! "

So that's what I did.  I looked through my camera roll to find a good picture of ours. Then I found one which we had taken at the Park with his hands wrapped around my waist and chin on my shoulder.  I was laughing about something when Ishan took it.

Smiling I printed it out before framing it. After that, I decided to go to the store to find something.

Shubmans pov

Rubbing my face I sat there at the practice session. I have been pretty distant with Shobhana since I heard from someone. That person had told me that what if Shobhana is just dating me for fame and to build her career?

This thought has been haunting me for a while now.

"hey bro, " Ishan greeted, sitting next to me.

"Hey man," I muttered. "You alright? " he asked as I nodded.

"Kriti told me that you haven't spoken to Shobi in a while man. What's wrong?" he asked.

"Nothing just stress. I'll speak to her later, " I answered back.

I had told Shahneel Di that we were dating and she was over the moon. She literally called Shobhana and started yelling about her not having told her.

I don't know what to do. I just hope........ this ends well.
