Shobhana pov

"Yeah okay I'll see you there, " I answered before ending the call.

"Hey, you wanna come to this party?" I asked Shubman who was on the couch.

He looked at me raising his eyebrows. "What party?" he asked.

"A casual party that my friend is organizing," I answered as he nodded.

"Sure. I'm free anyway," he shrugged. "When is it?" he asked.

"6:30"

"That's in an hour. Should we get ready?" he asked as I nodded.

"Yeah we should," I admitted.

We both went to our rooms to get ready.

After I got ready,  I came out to see Shubman in a classic white shirt and black jeans

After I got ready,  I came out to see Shubman in a classic white shirt and black jeans.

"You look nice, " he smiled as I returned one.

"You look great too, " I answered.

"Let's go yeah? " I asked taking my car keys as he nodded.

The 2 of us made it to the car before getting in. It was a 20-minute drive.

When we arrived we noticed a few of my workplace people and our friends.

"You made it! " Susan smiled hugging me as I laughed.

On entering the house, I and Shubman noticed a lot of music playing and people dancing.

A few of them were having drinks and chatting and a few people making out.

We looked at each other before laughing. But deep down,  it reminded me of our time together.

"OHMYGOD our singer is here!" I heard James yell as he tackled me into a hug as everyone laughed.

"Okay we definitely need a song right now, "he spoke as everyone cheered.

"No no, " I denied but he carried me away.

"What James put me down!  Shubman! " I exclaimed but Sam him laughing.

James made me sit on the couch and handed me a guitar.

"Okay song time!! " everyone yelled as I sighed. I noticed Shubman sitting on a bar stool as he smiled at me.

I strummed the guitar before beginning.

He said, "Let's get out of this town
Drive out of the city, away from the crowds"
I thought Heaven can't help me now
Nothing lasts forever
But this is gonna take me down

He's so tall and handsome as hell
He's so bad, but he does it so well
I can see the end as it begins
My one condition is

Say you'll remember me
Standing in a nice dress
Staring at the sunset, babe
Red lips and rosy cheeks
Say you'll see me again
Even if it's just in your wildest dreams, ah-ah, ha
Wildest dreams, ah-ah, ha

I said, "No one has to know what we do"
His hands are in my hair, his clothes are in my room
And his voice is a familiar sound
Nothing lasts forever
But this is getting good now

He's so tall and handsome as hell
He's so bad, but he does it so well
And when we've had our very last kiss
My last request is

Say you'll remember me
Standing in a nice dress
Staring at the sunset, babe
Red lips and rosy cheeks
Say you'll see me again
Even if it's just in your wildest dreams, ah-ah, ha (ha-ah, ha)
Wildest dreams, ah-ah, ha

You'll see me in hindsight
Tangled up with you all night
Burning it down
Someday when you leave me
I bet these memories
Follow you around

You'll see me in hindsight
Tangled up with you all night
Burning (burning) it (it) down (down)
Someday when you leave me
I bet these memories
Follow (follow) you (you) around (follow you around)

Say you'll remember me
Standing in a nice dress
Staring at the sunset, babe
Red lips and rosy cheeks
Say you'll see me again
Even if it's just pretend

Say you'll remember me
Standing in a nice dress
Staring at the sunset, babe
Red lips and rosy cheeks
Say you'll see me again
Even if it's just (pretend, just pretend) in your wildest dreams, ah-ah, ha (ah)
In your wildest dreams, ah-ah, ha
Even if it's just stayed in your wildest dreams, ah-ah, ha
In your wildest dreams, ah-ah, ha

Shubman pov

As I had a sip of the drink which I held in my hand,  I realised I was still in love with Shobi.

I lost the girl of my dreams because of some asshole's words.

I saw her finish singing as everyone clapped. I smiled as she walked towards me.

"God this happens every time we have a party, " she laughed.

The party went on,  with us chatting and drinking.

After a while when we both were standing in the garden, I noticed the bracelet on her wrist. The one I gave her.

"You still have it," I spoke as she looked at me. When she noticed me looking at the bracelet she smiled.

"I never took it off," she admitted as we walked towards the car to go back home.

Home.

It felt nice to say that.

I sat in the driver's seat as she sat in the passenger seat. We had decided to switch places while coming back.

"Why? " I asked her regarding the bracelet which adorned her wrist.

"Because... " she trailed off.

"What is it? " I asked.  "Because I never stopped loving you, " she admitted.

When she said that, I felt butterflies and fireworks in my stomach.

"I never stopped too, " I admitted.

I saw her look at me and a smile made its way onto her face.

I couldn't help but place my lips onto hers. I felt her gasp before she kissed me back instantly,  her hands holding my face.

We pulled away a few seconds later breathless as we related our foreheads together.

"I missed you, Shubman, " she said.

"I missed you too. I'm not losing you again. I can't risk that. I love you" I smiled.

"I love you too."
