Before Raven's united legions fleet could make their way to the HQ, Hyperion and its reinforcement fleet had come back first. They parted ways with the Immortal Blades and Marika's fleet, as they went for a report and repairing.
Durandal and Rita are coming to the Overseer's office to ask what's going on with these suspicious assignments. On the way to the main building, they saw a lot of aircrafts leaving the HQ, carrying dozens of soldiers. Rita had a good guess on what might be going on, but she still wasn't sure so she didn't tell Durandal.
"Overs-" - Durandal opened the door without knocking, hoping to see Otto sitting on his chair, with his cock. But she only saw Amber cleaning the desk in the office.
"Welcome back, miss Durandal, miss Rita, how could I help you?" - Amber greeted them.
"Where's the Overseer?" - Durandal asked and looked around, things that belonged to Otto were gone.
"..."
The silence from Amber didn't feel good to Durandal and Rita, since she will answer any question immediately, but now she's just standing there… Her eyes covered made this conversation harder to continue.
"Don't tell me that he…"
"No, Overseer… He left this." - Amber had no choice but to give them his letter before they misunderstood the situation.
"..."
Both of them read the letter carefully in order to understand its meaning… In case there's a hidden message inside it. But there was none.
"How long since he left?" - Durandal asked.
"Since the day before yesterday. According to the letter, we should be broadcasting that video in a few more hours." - Amber said.
"... Right at this time…" - Durandal mumbled.
"Is there anything wrong?" - Amber asked.
"There's a lot of unusual urgent missions…"
While Durandal is retelling the story to Amber, the Hyperion crew is making their way towards the repairing area, while half of the crew headed to the medical areas.
"Ah… It's been a while since we've been back to the HQ…" - Kiana said as she stretched her arms.
"Hmm… This place still hasn't changed at all." - You said while walking with the Valkyries.
"You've been here before, Captain?" - Kiana asked.
"Of course he had been… idiotka… He must have visited this place many times before due to his rankings even before being promoted to become our Captain." - Bronya said.
"Bronya's right…" - You looked around, the only times you've been here is for promotions, and to mee-
"Defensive system deactivated."
The robotic voice was heard from the speakers in the entire area and surprised everyone. Nobody knew what happened. You looked around, the lights are still on, doors are still working. Only the turrets and the mechs on the outside are shut down…
"...."
"Maybe a malfunction?"
"Doesn't seem like it… What's that?" - You looked outside the window, and saw a ship approaching the base from the skies.
It doesn't look like a Schicksal's ship, but rather painted darker and more advanced. Also it is heading towards your direction without slowing down.
"Hey hey hey shouldn't we be dodging-" - Kiana said but she got dragged away by the others who were already doing that.
