(9) Revolution

"Do you hear the drumming? a revolutions coming"

Me and Connor were driving to Cyberlife and I had to act like an android, Markus had me wear an android outfit, he even made a fake LED, so smart

"Connor, what if this doesn't work, we're both fucked" I ask

"Y/N, it's okay, I got your back, as long as we stay in character nothing will go wrong," Connor says with empathy instead of giving an android answer

We get to the building and I look straightforward, not acting like a person and just sitting there, all I have to do is stay still and act like an obedient android

Connor speaks to the guards

"What about the other one?" A guard asks Connor

"Cyberlife needs me to bring it for testing" Connor explains

"Alright you can go," The guard says

Connor gets us in and we reach the building, then these guards come up to us saying to follow them and we do

My anxiety is really bad right now but I just follow what Connor does

Connor whispers to me while the guards aren't looking "I disabled the camera, you take out the left one, and I take the right"

I nod and we attack them, they are dead and we make the elevator go down to the basement

I smile at him "Good job partner"

"You too" He smiles back

We get down and before Connor could connect with the androids...

Another Connor comes out ordering us to stop as Hank is there.. with a gun pointed at his head

Connor takes his hand off

I grabbed the guards gun before leaving the elevator so I used it and tried to attack it

After all our fighting, the two Connors were together with me and Hank pointing guns at them, Hank says "One of you is my partner, the other is a sack of shit"

We're told to ask something only the real Connor would know, at first it fails but Hank asks some hard-hitting questions

"My son, what's his name?"

"Cole.. his name was Cole," A Connor says

And he gives information the real Connor would only know... but to make sure I asked him an important question

"When was the first time we fell in love with each other?"

Hank turns his head to me and gives a shocked expression, slowly putting his gun down

"When you played Mr. Loverman, and we danced, I couldn't stop thinking about how beautiful you were, your eyes, and how soft your hair was, I felt something I never had felt before, I loved you... And after when you kept saying I did the right thing... I felt so happy to have you..." Connor said with tears swelling up

I knew who it was... and I shot the other Connor, then running into my Connors arms, we hugged and then Connor gave me the most passionate kiss I have ever felt, I felt the bliss of the moment

We stopped kissing and I faced Hank who was smiling

"I knew you two loved each other... you never got your eyes off each other, and I was right, now go save the revolution"

Connor took all the androids and made them deviant, we opened the gates to go to Markus

Connor and I led the androids and everyone stared as we walked but there were too many to fight so we were able to make it to Markus who had the guards already putting their guns down

Markus told us to come with him up on the "stage" and we did, standing up next to Markus and Connor, I couldn't believe what was happening, the androids were already getting freedom

Connor and I hold hands to show human and android can be together

But then... he lets go...

I look at him and he's reaching for his gun...

Shit... not to panic anyone I whisper to him to stop and I try to push him out of whatever control he's in

He looks at me and puts his gun away and he puts his hand in mine again
and he whispers it's okay and that he will explain later

The androids are cheering for freedom and we cheer with them

The next day the city was emptying and people were barely in the city anymore

But Hank told us to meet him here so me and Connor held hands and wait

"After the clone thing, I hope Hank will still like me, he seemed to, but I don't know" Connor expressed fear

I kiss him on the cheek and say "Hank loves you, it will be fine Connor, trust me"

We hear footsteps, turn around, and...

It's Hank

He stands there and smiles at us

We smile back and walk closer

We give a group hug

"I love you guys, both of you, let's go home, I have a surprise," Hank says

We walk with him and walk over to the house... we get inside and...

"Markus?"

Markus, North, Simon, Josh, all there, why?

"Y/N and Connor, we meet the president tomorrow to show the peace between humans and androids, I want both of you to come with us, it will be so important for Jericho, We may have won the war but we need more for the androids, if this goes well, Jericho will get its own rebuilt place just for us"

I look at Connor, he nods at me and we look back at Markus

"Yes," We say at the same time

Everyone cheers, North hugs me "You will be our future Y/N"

"Also, because of this and helping us Y/N, you and Connor have a house in the city, took a lot of convincing but It's a pretty good house and you deserve it," Markus says

"REALLY?!" I say smiling so hard then turning to Connor and kissing him then turning and saying "Thank you, Markus"

He just smiles at us
