I woke up from my dreadful sleep groaning softly, rubbing my eyes, trying to adjust to the little bit of light coming through the trees. "Well, I made it through the night," I said quietly before stretching and standing up, looking around, trying to figure out how I ended up here.

Once I was done contemplating if I should have taken another route in life, I began my journey. There was so much I needed to do when I got back; hopefully, that lady wasn't there today looking for her stuff. She may not find any humor in my random hiking trip and the possibility of ruining a part of her wedding.

At least it's pretty...for a creepy forest. It feels like I have been walking for hours, an endless cycle. It feels like one big circle since I have yet to pay attention to my surroundings. I sat on a random stump letting out a small huff as my stomach growled. I am a bit hungry, but there is nothing to eat unless I want the forest floor for breakfast.

In the corner of my eye, I saw a white thing in the distance; turning my head quickly, I scanned the trees, trying to spot what was there. I couldn't figure out what it was; I shrugged, standing up. I started my journey to find something to munch on; I could eat almost anything.

Deep in thought, I heard the faint sound of water flowing, almost like a waterfall in the distance. I looked around and stepped off the path in the direction I thought it was in. It was eerie since little light was coming through the thick treetops.

Every sound had me jumping out of my skin, a mouse could fart a mile away, and I would still think it was right next to me—the downside of having great hearing. As I started to get into my thoughts, I stumbled by a 'camp,' you could say.

I stopped dead in my tracks, staring at the tents before me. I was too close for comfort since I was 'alone' in these woods. I sighed, rubbing my forehead "why does this happen to me?" I questioned myself. Shaking off the odd feeling I got, I walked over to them.

There are two of them; they're both jet black with symbols on the front 'door' with a silver zipper running down the middle. I walked over to the first one and looked at the mark; it was the triple moons. "New beginnings?" I asked, but nothing answered.

I walked over to the next one and saw a spiral that I believed was the continuous cycle of life. I stood in between them and stared out into the trees. "I guess it is time for the penny again; heads, moons, tails spiral," I said, grabbing it from my pocket.

I suddenly felt that I was being watched; looking around, I couldn't spot what was doing it, so I shrugged it off. I flipped the coin; it felt like everything started moving in slow motion. I felt stuck in place until the coin hit the ground.

I took a deep breath and looked down at the coin. "Heads," I whisper to myself; it's the wrong choice, like I should have made up my mind and gone with the spiral. "Only one way to settle this, if it lands on tails, the moon is the right choice; heads, it's wrong, and I go with the spiral."

I picked it up again and flipped it with no hesitation. I watched it turn in the air; I sighed as it hit the ground. Looking at it, I let out a sigh; it was tails. "Well, the coin has spoken," I said, walking to the tent with the moons. I grabbed the start of the zipper and slowly opened it, wondering what would meet me.

To my surprise, it was pitch black inside; there was nothing. "What kind of game is this? It's not fun." I said simply before feeling a hand grab my arm and yank me inside. Before I had a chance to scream, everything went black. No nightmare, just darkness; it was comforting in a way.
