It had been 5 days ever since T's death. Olivia had become depressed. She hadn't eaten in days. She was just thinking all of the time and crying silently. She hadn't even spoken in a long time, in fact. She was just sitting there, in the same spot, rotting away from the sadness and depression.
Meanwhile, with Springy, he had been happy. But it was... fake? He felt different than what he thought he would've felt. He wanted to feel good about it, but he felt guilty. He wanted to celebrate, but he only thought about what he did. It confused him. He... He felt depressed as well. He could describe it, but he didn't want to. So, he lied to himself. One day, he finally decided to talk to his only 'subject' about it. He walked out into the room Olivia was in. She was sitting in her corner crying. Springy sat right by her.
"What do you want?" Olivia growled. She moved a little bit.
"Um, first off, I'm sorry... I didn't mean t-"
"IF YOU DIDN’T MEAN TO, THEN WHY DID YOU DO IT? IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!" Olivia took some time to collet herself before sighing.
"Wait..." Olivia realized something. "T got thierself stuck on the... But you're still a killer!"
Springy laughed. This was very amusing to him, and fascinating, how people lived their lives. Especially humans. This was one of the only humans he had ever seen in his life. He was told that humans were evil creatures and were dead for a reason. He never found out that reason. But that never succeeded in making him think that humans were evil.
"I know how it feels to go through loss. I- I don't what to talk about it, though," Springy, through his words, spoke sincerely. He had no lies to tell in that moment.
Olivia, of having nothing else to do, hugged him. Springy was surprised at first, then hugged back. Olivia started crying.
"Don’t worry. You don't have to love me or anything, but I will mourn with you,"
And that was true.
