of course running out in the rain like that wasn't the best idea. maybe you should start putting an extra umbrella in your bag now...

now though you've recovered enough to be able to go to school. a shame your short 'vacation' was over so quickly.

as you stepped into class you saw something on your desk.

it was the umbrella you had lent koushuu, oh and a note.

'thank you for the umbrella.'

it read. despite it only being five words that had no significant meaning, it still made you oddly happy.

you placed the umbrella back into your bag, and the note you made sure to put it in a safe place.

perfect timing on your part, as the teacher had just walked in.

you were enjoying your lunch when haruno sat next to you.

"(f/n) I'm so glad you're all better now!"
she said with a big smile.

"yeah being sick isn't much fun."
you returned a smile.

"so you ended up forgetting an umbrella...that's very unusual."
haruno asked.

"oh, no I gave it to someone."
you said.

you hadn't really filled her in all the details on how exactly you got sick.

"really?! who?"
she said shocked.

"ah we—"
you were cut off by a drink being placed in front of you.

"oh koushuu hi."
you said with a smile.

"it's not much...but thank you."
he said before leaving.

it was peach juice, you smiled to yourself. you glanced at his retreating figure.

"since when did you two get so close?"
haruno asked with her eyes wide.

"oh well we aren't that close, he's actually who I lent my umbrella too."
you explained.

she eyed you closely before smiling.

"so do you...like him?"
she asked playfully.

"like him?! that hasn't even crossed my mind!"
you whisper shouted at her.

haruno just broke out into giggles while you covered your red face.

you let out a sigh shoving food into your mouth. liking koushuu was just silly, you thought while grabbing the drink he gave you.
