You know, it is forbidden...

Part 11: A day with Ahsoka

I woke up before Ahsoka. I don't have training since I watch over the young ones, so I'm basically free in the mornings.

After a few minutes pass, she wakes up too.

"'Morning, sleepy head" I said to her. This surprised her, turning her face towards you.

"'Morning. Why are you awake?" She asked

"It's already morning. Get ready. Don't you have training with A...Anakin" I asked. Anakin... I need to speak with him.

"Uuhh..." She groaned, waking up, and going to the bathroom. Just as she went in, I head someone knocking on my door. I answered it

"Commander Newton, Commander Skywalker wishes to speak with you." Said CT-1409. CT-1409, Echo. He is a good friend of mine as well as Anakin. 

"Tell him I'll come a bit later." I said to Echo. "And Albert is enough."

"Right! Had a good night?" He asked.

"Yeah" I answered. Looking back to the talks with Ahsoka. "A great one actually. You?"

"As well. I'm off now, delivering Commander Skywalker your messege." He said as he left for Anakin

"Goodbye Echo!" I yelled him. A few moments later, Ahsoka came out of the bathroom.

"Ready, I assume?" I asked. She just nodded, as we left the cabin. We went straight to the training grounds, where Anakin was waiting. Close, I stayed a little behind Ahsoka so as not to seem suspicious.

"Hey Snips. Ready?" Anakin asked from Ahsoka? She again just nodded, and Skywalker started her training before he looked over me.

"Practise these 'till I'm back" said Anakin as he confronted me

"Hey Al. How're you doing?" He asked

"Fine. I needed to speak to you as well, so let's get to the subject" I suggested, to which he agreed

"What happened last night?" He asked.

"What would've. We talked, had a good time, and went to sleep. End of story." I said. "However..." I started. Anakin raised an eyebrow. I then got into my purse, and got 100 credits out

"I think I owe you this." I said to him. This made him smile from ear to ear. He took the debt.

"So you are, in fact, in..." He said, as I interrupted him

"Shh." I made him silent, and started whispering ."She's here, you know." I said. He turned back, and saw her practising the moves. He than faced me again

"Got some business. We'll deal with this later." He said. I agreed, and set off to the Youngling

I was monitoring the younglings in their free time when someone approached me from behind.

"Heey! How are you holding?" asked the girl. I instantly recoginsed her voice

"Doing okay. Are you alone?" I asked. To which...

"Not really" Anakin answered. "I still need to talk with you" He said. Knowing he was right

"Could you hold the line  until I speak with your master?" I asked. 

"Suure. No problem at all" She said with a cheerful smile. This made me feel... you know, happy, warm, etc.

I then, went off with Anakin

Ahsoka POV

I took the job from Albert, as they went to the other room. I wonder what Master wants with him. I then start to scan the children. They are doing well, just as Albert said. But, I then hear a faint voice from the other side.

"So what now?" Asked Master. "You going to get her?"

"I'm not sure what to do. For one, I'm a Jedi, a Master. I can't have these kinds of connections. And she probably isn't really open to these" Albert said.

What are they talking about? What connections?

"Oh, cut the crap, Al. You know what's between me, and ... you know?" He asked. You know who? Who does Anakin have a connection with?

"True, but... It's not that simple. Yours isn't a Jedi." Albert said. She has feelings for a Jedi? Now I'm confused...

"What does it matter? You like Ahsoka, don't you? So go, get her. Even if she rejects, you at least tried. Not now, not today, but someday, tell her this." Master said.

What? He likes ME? How? When? Is this really happening?

"I don't know. I'll think about it." Albert said. "Done?"

"Yeah, sort of." Said Master Skywalker. As I heard the door of that room open.

I got my head away from the wall, and focused them on the younglings

Albert POV   

As I finished with Anakin, I went straight back to the Younglings.

"Thanks Ashoka. I'll take it from here!" I said to her. She nodded, and stood up from the chair.

"No need. I'll go, be with the kids. Care to join?" I asked.

"S...Sure." She said shyly. We went to the kids, and started playing

"Master Newton!" The kids cheered. I just laughed at them.

"Hey guys. Wanna play something?" I asked them. They argued a bit, but decided

"Truth or Dare!" They said. I looked at Ahsoka

"Good for you?" I asked. She seemed to daze off a bit, but approved. So, we sat down in a circle, and began.

The kids played wonderfully, asking incredible questions for their age. Then, I got called out

"Hey Master! T or D?"  a youngling boy, Eric asked.

"I'd say Truth. I'm too lazy to get up" I fake complained, getting a laugh from the kids

"As a Jedi, have you ever thought of getting a girlfriend?" He asked. This caught me off guard. I looked around, seeing the kid's, and Ahsoka's curious looks.

"I did, and still do. But remember, it is forbidden for us, Jedi to make connections. This is to protect our order. I'm just wondering what would it be like..." I said

"Anyway... who's next?" I asked

"Truth or Daare, Albert?" Ahsoka asked. Surprised

"Same as before." I said

"Who is this person that you're thinking about?" She asked. I just stared at her. Why would she want to know

And I can't say a thing without her finding out.

"I'd... rather not say... It's a bit too personal..." I said.

"No problem at all. We can go out if we want. Just the two of us." She said in a calming, yet excited voice. I couldn't turn this down. But I needed to do something before that.

"Fine by me. But I need to go to the bathroom before this. Can we wait for that?" I asked. She nodded

"Okay guys, I think we got around. Why don't you play a little?" I asked, as they started going to their own ways.

Me and Ahsoka then left the room
