A/N: I know this one might be a bit questionable but as the book already explains, it's only about Cillian Murphy roles therefore not about the real historical figure. I hope you enjoy this chapter because i have more ideas of this character and I'm currently obsessed with this movie:-)

(Also I know oppie studied literature but not in this oneshot)

In the bustling corridors of the prestigious university, Y/N, a bright and inquisitive literature major, found herself in a rush to attend her next class. Juggling her books and trying to navigate the crowded halls, she accidentally bumped into someone, sending her beloved copy of 'Venus and Adonis' tumbling out of her pocket.
As fate would have it, the book landed at the feet of a rather tall and slightly disheveled young man, J. Robert Oppenheimer, who was known among his peers for being a brilliant yet absent-minded physicist.
He looked down at the book with intrigue, its cover adorned with the elegant words of Shakespeare.

"Oh, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to bump into you. Are you okay? " She Asker with nervously tainted voice.
Oppenheimer smiled warmly into her direction, not bothered by the situation at all
" No worries. I'm quite used to being clumsy myself. Let me help you" He suggested as the gentleman he was raised to be. His cold skinny yet masculine hand reached out for the poem and gave it back to it's owner.

"Thank you. It's one of my favorites. I can't believe I dropped it."

Robert couldn't help but glance at the cover "Venus and Adonis. A beautiful choice. I must admit, I'm not well-versed in literature, but I find Shakespeare's work captivating."

Those words immediately engaged her passion to talk about her favorite author, her face brightening up in the process of their conversation

"You enjoy Shakespeare? That's wonderful! There's so much beauty and depth in his words."

"Yes, there's a certain magic in the way he weaves stories. I might be a physicist, but I do appreciate the power of words." He chuckled, further enthusiast into the small talk in the hall.

"Oh, you're a physicist? That's fascinating. What brings you to this side of the university?"

In addition to her words, Oppenheimer playfully shrugged his shoulders.
"I suppose I'm a bit of a wanderer. Physics is my passion, but I can't help but explore other realms of knowledge."

As they continued chatting, Y/N couldn't help but be captivated by Oppenheimer's intellect and genuine curiosity. Likewise, Robert found himself drawn to Y/N's passion for literature and the way she spoke about the written word as if it held the secrets of the universe.
Unbeknownst to them, the professor overseeing the classroom witnessed their interaction and realized that they could use a helping hand with the cleaning and organizing of the room. The professor decided to assign both Y/N and Oppenheimer the task of tidying up together, disliking y/n since the day she was assigned to the university. The reasoning of his disapproveal was unbeknownst to her, however her suspicion of treating her different was never too major to do something against. She didn't know why her professor had it out for her but it was not changeable whatsoever.
As the two of them cleaned and rearranged the classroom, they exchanged thoughts on literature, physics, and life's wonders. The more they talked, the more they discovered how complementary their interests were. Y/N's appreciation for the intricacies of language and storytelling enriched Oppenheimer's understanding of creativity and expression, while Oppenheimer's fascination with the laws of the universe ignited a newfound curiosity in Y/N about the cosmos.

From that serendipitous meeting forward, Y/N and Robert became inseparable. They spent their days delving into the depths of both literature and physics, exploring the connections between the two disciplines.
