By the way things went in the backseat of Prince's car he decided to drive us to the hotel room. Whilst there was a pit of guilt bubbling in my stomach, Prince was rambling about god knows what.

"-And I want big lights! I just bought this new shirt that's neon green with frills, if people don't dig it then I must be dyin'." He exclaimed.

I stared out the window beside me, not listening to a word he's saying. Should I have done that with Prince? If Morris were to find out I'd be in deep shit.

"Candice? Are you alright, sugar?" He asked while patting my thigh.

"I feel bad." I said before turning me head to look at him. He let out a cold chuckle which caused an irritated expression to fall to my features.

"Why?" He said in a snarky tone.

"Why?! I just had sex with you in your car while dating Morris! I'm a terrible person."

"You're not terrible for falling into temptation baby." He said in a soft tone.

"Temptation? You practically demanded me to get in the seat."

"Let's just face it. I'm better than Morris in more ways than sex and you just can't seem to stay away."

"You're such an arrogant bi-" He quickly interrupted.

"You know, since you like to act all sassy you can get out of the car." I watched as he came to a stop.

I let out a scoff, "You can't be serious!" He looked over at me with a glare.

"Oh my god you're serious." I muttered before he reached over and opened the door for me. "Have a nice walk." He said with a sarcastic smile.

I was hesitant to get out but once I exited the car he drove off quickly, leaving me by myself in the road.

Since it was only 4:00 PM I had time to walk around and look for a payphone.

After what seemed like hours of walking and weird stares shot my way I found a payphone beside a bus stop with a homeless man beside it.

The first person I could think of calling was Morris. Almost 3 seconds after I dialed he picked up the phone.

"Yo?" He said in his usually deep voice.

"Morris, listen it's me Candice. Prince kicked me out of the car a-" I was interrupted.

"Oh trust me, baby. I know what happened and I'm done fooling around in your little mind game where you say that you love me but you fuck me over. Why do you always go back to that ignorant little bitch?!" He yelled.

"Morris I-I'm sorry."

"No your not! You only care about yourself." He hung up almost immediately after speaking.

I felt the tears building in my eyes yet I had to subside them. I dialed Prince, knowing that it wouldn't end up being a good conversation.

After almost a minute of waiting he picked up the phone. "Hello?" He said, breathless.

"Prince, It's Candice."

"I don't wanna talk to you Candice. Ooh shi-" He hung up just before a moan left his mouth.

"Oh come on!" I slammed the phone onto the hook and buried my face in my palms. Everything was going downhill, my relationship, my friendship. Hell, even my career at that.

I looked across the street at a bar with flashing lights on the windows. Maybe that was where I belong.
