Chapter 16

Jin Yu was furious. "How dare you—"

"How dare you trample on other people's dignity like this!" Song Juyao was even angrier than him, and her face darkened. "You've made a lot of promises to each school, recruiting students with excellent grades and promising futures. After they enter this school, it's fine if you don't treat them with respect, but now you want to drive them out. You're disgusting."

"You..."

Song Juyao bent down and pulled up his collar. "Let me tell you, even a poor person has a backbone. What's so great about you? When I want to hit you, I'll just hit you. Does your noble body not hurt under my fist?"

The wolfishness appeared in Song Juyao's eyes again, burning with dazzling crimson flames, as if they could burn a soul to death. Jin Yu stared at those eyes from a close distance, feeling like he was going to be consumed by their intensity, and his breathing momentarily stopped.

"You. Are. Dead." Jin Yu gritted his teeth, speaking word by word after regaining his senses.

Song Juyao smiled softly, but there wasn't much warmth in it. "What can you do to me? I am a member of the Olympic Award team. There's only one such team in each country, and it's known as a 'national treasure.' The government knows that I'm attending Golden Cordora Academy. If anything happens to me, do you think the government won't pursue it? My leverage might be quite powerful. Let me tell you something, Mr. Alberta, you should know, right? If I don't perform well in scientific research, I'll have to go back and inherit the legendary figure of the Arms Empire, and I am his only student. If your father finds out that you caused him so much trouble, will he not give you a few slaps?"

[Ahhhh!]

[So cool!]

[Oh my god, this plot is amazing! My mind is blown!]

[Song Juyao, you're killing me with your awesomeness! Jin Yu is just an NPC in this story, but I'm getting emotional!]

Jin Yu's face turned red and blue, filled with anger and hatred. He never imagined that one day he would encounter such a formidable opponent, and that opponent would be a commoner born as a special student he despised, with no noble blood!

When Song Juyao let go of him, Jin Yu saw her glance at him with eyes that seemed to be looking at something dirty—eyes he was accustomed to using on others.

His mind went blank with anger, and he instinctively stood up from the ground and attempted to threaten Song Juyao. "You—"

The moment his hand touched Song Juyao's shoulder, Jin Yu's vision blurred.

"Bang!" Jin Yu fell to the ground, and for a moment, it felt as though he could hear the sound of his own bones cracking. But louder than the sound of bones breaking was the shattering of his once proud world.

For an instant, the world stood still. He wondered if he had passed out or if he was dreaming. How could he have encountered something like this? How could anyone dare to do this to him?

Song Juyao looked at the young man thrown over her shoulder and lying on the ground. His meticulously combed hair was disheveled, his glasses were askew, his clothes were disarrayed, and his expression was dumbfounded, full of bewilderment about life.

Song Juyao blinked, then turned and walked back to the desk. "Don't suddenly attack me from behind."

[Hahahahahahahahaha]

[I laughed so much that roosters within a ten-mile radius are crowing, hahahaha]

[This is so cool!]

Song Juyao picked up the landline on the table and called the school infirmary.
