JUNGKOOK

Meet me outside, in front of
the dorms in ten minutes.

When his phone had vibrated with the message from Jimin,
he had been tempted to
ignore it.

He couldn't imagine what
Jimin would want and
outside?

That was even more
suspicious, considering it
was the middle of the
afternoon and Jimin had gone
to great lengths to keep
their relationship hidden.

Back when there had been a relationship, that is.

By the time he'd changed
shirts and put on a pair of
shoes, five minutes had
already passed.

There wasn't going to be time
to fix his hair not that it mattered.

Jimin probably needed the answers to some calculus homework or something.

Definitely no reason to get
all worked up.

So why, then, did he have a whole stomach full of
butterflies at the thought of seeing Jimin again?

It had been two weeks fifteen days, not that he was
counting and he really
shouldn't be letting
himself feel this way.

He really should be over it
by now. Over Jimin.

He rolled his eyes.

He'd just have to fake it
Until it was true.

He checked his phone.

Eight minutes.

He looked out the window
but aside from the steady
stream of students walking
to and from the dorms,
there was nothing that
seemed out of the ordinary.

No flash mob waiting to
help Jimin propose.

Ugh. Seriously.

He was going to have to
let it go.

He walked out of his room
and down the stairs to the
dorm lobby.

As soon as he came around
the corner, he saw Jimin.

Looking calm and happy and
oh my God, so damn sexy
that he was having a hard
time concentrating on anything other than putting one foot in front of the other, until he'd closed the distance between them.

For a moment, neither of
them spoke but Jimin finally shook his head slightly, as
if he was coming out of
a trance, or a dream.

"Gukie." He said.

"I've missed you."

"You look really good."

There were a few other
people in the lobby but as
Jungkook looked around, self conscious on Jimin's behalf, it didn't seem like any of them
had heard what he'd said.

"Thanks." He said, blushing.

"You do too but..."

"Shh, don't ask any
questions."

"Not yet."

Jimin put a finger to his lips,
just like he'd done weeks ago.

When things had been
different between them.

But his body still reacted
in exactly the same way
and he had to remind
himself not to go there.

Not to let himself get too
caught up in the moment, because it would only make saying goodbye that much harder.
