The next day, Aunt Cass was allowed to leave the hospital. Honey Lemon, Wasabi, Abigail, and Hiro worked at the café while Aunt Cass recovered. Once she was working again, which was only a week or two later, Fred's parents stopped by to offer her a job. She accepted and worked at Fred's house five days a week, ten hours a day. The team of heroes helped run the café while she was working, but the team enjoying spending time with her.
One day, almost a month later, Aunt Cass surprised the team with a cake. It had all of them on it, in their superhero costumes.
"To my heroes," she said.
The group ate nearly the entire cake. After, as the sun set over San Fransokyo, the group shared stories of their adventures to Aunt Cass, who listened to every word.
