However, to the people who lived here, having access to three new varieties of food was sufficient to improve their life significantly.

The volunteers had come by plane and promised to visit again next spring.

The inhabitants here have never left their home. Even when they left to fish, they always stayed near the island.

Thus, the only way they knew to go out of this place was through the volunteers who visited by plane.

The little boats they used to fish could not be relied on for far travels. Those boats overturned too easily and could cost them their lives.

Most importantly, this place was their home. They had no interest in leaving.

After understanding the situation, both Jungkook and Lisa felt very helpless.

There was no way they would stay here till next spring. The volunteers also did not specify when exactly they would return. What if they went back on their promise?

They stood in the hallway and glanced out of the window to see the boats attached to the homes. They were all too small.

These boats were absolutely no match for the powerful waves. They were only slightly better than a wooden raft.

Hyuna approached Jungkook's side and took in his stern and attractive features. "Stay. I will treat you well."

Lisa frowned lightly. She was fairly intelligent. How could she possibly misunderstand Hyuna's intentions?

This woman was interested in Jungkook.

Jungkook shook his head. "I will leave this place."

"No." Hyuna refused.

She was determined to have this man!

Lisa asked her another question. "Is this your home?"

Hyuna nodded. Her expression was proud. "My home is good, yes? It's the biggest among the women."

"There is only one room here." Lisa pointed at Jungkook. "Where do we sleep?"

"He sleep with me." Hyuna patted her own chest.

Lisa's expression turned dark. She had expected this. "What about me?"

Hela lifted her hand and pointed towards the home in the center of the village. "You stay there."

Jungkook asked. "Whose home is that?"

The crowd on the beach had dispersed. It seemed like all the homes were occupied and there weren't any vacant spaces.

"Yunho's," Hyuna answered directly.

Jungkook's expression turned dark. His aura was frigid cold from his rage.

Hyuna felt that he appeared much more charismatic than Yunho. With just one glance, it was clear he was a capable ruler. Although she was a little afraid, she was more lovestruck.

In their village, both men and women were thought to be attractive when they were well-built and fair.

She was the fairest woman in this village. Although her skin was a shade of honey, it was much lighter than all the women in this place.

As for the woman who had just arrived, though she was very fair, she didn't appear strong enough.

More importantly, the village leader was smitten with this woman. She believed that this woman wouldn't be Hyuna's rival.

Lisa finally understood. The moment the two of them arrived in this place, Yunho and Hyuna had claimed their stakes on them.

It seemed like these two were rather powerful here.

Jungkook immediately held Lisa's hand and turned to head out of the house.

"Don't go..." Hyuna rushed to follow.

Jungkook turned back and glared at her coldly. The murderous intent in his gaze successfully made her falter.

She watched unhappily as they left. They walked through the shallow waters and returned to the beach.

Lisa spoke to Jungkook in Chinese. "Hubby, do we leave now?"

He leaned close to her ear and whispered.. "We'll stay here for a while and steal a boat."
