Her words were not threatening. In fact, she spoke to them with a smile.
However, Jeon Chongshan and Ye Yunzhi understood that she was absolutely serious.
"Jungkook is head over heels in love with you. We had thought you could advise him to have a child with someone else." Ye Yunzhi shook her head. "It seems like you won't help us them."
Lisa smiled mockingly. "Mother-in-law, if you had been unable to have a child yourself, would you have advised your husband to have a child with someone else?"
"I..." She absolutely would not. How could she possibly give her own husband to someone else! Ye Yunzhi was left speechless.
"Looking at your expression, it seems like you would be unwilling." Lisa spoke coldly and indifferently. "Do unto others as you would have them do unto yourself. I'm sure you don't need me to teach you something as simple as this."
"Lisa, she is your mother-in-law! How could you speak to an elder like this!" Elder Jeon Chongshan reprimanded harshly.
Before Lisa could respond, a man spoke up coldly. "Do you think you're acting like elders right now?!"
The three of them turned towards the entrance and watched as Jungkook stepped into the living room. He had been the one to speak up earlier.
Following his appearance, the living room seemed to turn several degrees colder. His aura became threatening as well.
Jeon Chongshan and Ye Yunzhi immediately appeared like children who had made mistakes. They did not dare to speak up again.
They came today because they knew Jungkook had gone to work. Why did he return?
Lisa stood up from the couch and approached Jungkook. "Didn't you leave to the company?"
Jungkook's frigid gaze landed on Jeon Chongshan and Ye Yunzhi. Both of them sat stiffly as they felt an invisible pressing down on them.
"The elders have made a mistake. I naturally should be here to handle this matter." Jungkook lifted his hand and caressed Lisa's hair gently.
From his words, it was clear he had overheard their conversation from earlier.
"What do you mean by a mistake?" Jeon Chongshan was angry. "I'm doing this for the Jeon family's future."
"The Jeon family has strict rules and has never liked complicated, messy relationships." Jungkook narrowed his eyes. "Grandfather, you once said that in the Jeon family, it would be the highest insult for a man to be with another woman while he was still married to one. How could you come up with the thought of handing me another woman? Of course, that is your wishful thinking."
He gently tucked Lisa's hair behind her ear. "I've said this before, but I absolutely won't touch any other woman besides Lisa."
"You..." Elder Jeon stood up in anger. "I don't wish to do this either. But the Jeon family needs a successor!"
"In that case, let me tell you honestly." Jungkook was expressionless. "Aside from Lisa, I've never felt the desire for any other women. Just the thought of touching someone else leaves me disgusted."
"That's impossible..." Although Jeon Chongshan said so, he also understood that Jungkook had never glanced at any other women since he was young.
"It's the truth." Jungkook brought Lisa into his arms and guided her towards the couch to sit down.
He then made a 'please' gesture to Elder Jeon Chongshan. "Grandfather, please sit down."
He then turned to Ye Yunzhi. "Mother, you as well.. I have something to discuss with the both of you."
