843.Start A Fire

Lisa leaned against a tree and waited idly.

Meanwhile, Jungkook began to collect dried tree branches.

Eunbi followed them into the forest and saw that they were not doing anything out of line. Her expression became a little better.

"CEO Jeon, why are you collecting tree branches?" Although Eunbi was confused by his actions, she still approached his side to help him.

As she leaned in closer, the thick stench of a man's odor filled his nose.

"I'll help you collect the tree branches." She spoke softly and began picking them from the ground.

The large pile of tree branches were tied up into a bundle with vines.

She glanced at Lisa, who was leaning against the tree. It seemed like Lisa had no intentions of joining in. "Miss Lee, why aren't you helping?"

"Can't you see that my arm is injured?" She pointed to the wound on her left arm.

Eunbi approached her side with a large bundle of tree branches in her arms. "Say, why is CEO Jeon collecting these?"

"I'm afraid of the cold." Lisa lifted her head to see that the sky was gradually turning dark.

As the sun began to set, every so often, the cry of a wolf could be heard from deep within the forest. The trees also rustled with the wind and the atmosphere was especially eerie.

Jungkook collected two bundles of tree branches. He held one in each hand and returned to the yard with Lisa.

Eunbi followed after him. She placed her pile of tree branches on top of his.

Jungkook opened the backpack. He retrieved a piece of bread and a bottle of water and handed them Lisa.

Lisa opened the packet of bread and dug in. Jungkook followed her.

"CEO Jeon..." The sight left Eunbi salivating. "Could you share some with me? It's been a day since I last ate."

His sharp gaze landed onto her.

It was clear he was unmoved by her words.

Eunbi was internally angered by his rejection. The food in the bag was clearly hers! He had merely taken it from her.

She did not mind sharing with him.

However, it was one matter that he wasn't giving her any. To think that he even gave some to Lisa!

Right now, considering the risks they were facing, food was especially precious. It was also important to remain alive!

Lisa finished her dinner and brought a lighter out from her backpack. She retrieved some of the dried up tree branches and piled them up on the ground. Soon, she lit a few tree branches and placed them on the pile.

"What are you doing?" Eunbi was flabbergasted. She rushed to stomp the fire out. "No matter how cold you are, you can't start a fire! The smoke will attract the other 'players'!"

Lisa shoved her aside and continued adding branches into the pile. "Scram aside."

This woman reeked of an unpleasant scent.

Eunbi was infuriated by her anger. She turned to Jungkook. "CEO Jeon, did you really collect those branches to start a fire for her? I thought you meant to lay on them to sleep. It's too dangerous to start a fire. You can't indulge her like this..."

It would be best if Jungkook chased this stupid woman away. This way, she would be able to spend intimate time with Jungkook alone..
