Raine landed hard on a pink couch.
A few seconds later, Eda fell onto a similar one across from them.
Raine looked up to see where they had fallen from, but the ceiling was plain.
Magic. Can't live with it, can't live without it.
The room was small, the walls pink, the floors covered in a large heart print rug,
Valentines, cheesy signs, pressed flowers and paper heart garlands coved the walls. An insanely ornate pink chandelier hung from the ceiling, draped in even more heart garlands.
The candles in the chandelier cast the room in a warm glow.
A pink heart-shaped radio sitting on a tall table played a song.
"My Wholsome Magic Sweetheart" by The Round-Ears.
Suddenly, a tiny hatch opened right above Raine, two pieces of paper fluttering down.
Raine caught them.
The first one was in typewriter font.

𝚂𝚒𝚗𝚌𝚎 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝙴𝚍𝚊 𝚑𝚊𝚟𝚎 𝚍𝚎𝚌𝚒𝚍𝚎𝚍 𝚝𝚘 𝚖𝚊𝚔𝚎 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚜 𝚍𝚒𝚏𝚏𝚒𝚌𝚞𝚕𝚝, 𝚠𝚎 𝚊𝚛𝚎 𝚖𝚘𝚟𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚝𝚘 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚋𝚊𝚌𝚔𝚞𝚙 𝚙𝚕𝚊𝚗.
𝙸𝚏 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚜 𝚍𝚘𝚎𝚜𝚗'𝚝 𝚠𝚘𝚛𝚔, 𝙻𝚞𝚣 𝚜𝚊𝚢𝚜 𝙸 𝚌𝚊𝚗 𝚍𝚘 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚃𝚞𝚗𝚗𝚎𝚕 𝚘𝚏 𝙻𝚘𝚟𝚎. 𝙱𝚎 𝚠𝚊𝚛𝚗𝚎𝚍.
Raine shuddered at the thought.
The letter continued.

Raine flipped to the next paper.
It was written in neat, round handwriting.
Dear Diary, it began.
"Nope." Raine quickly crumpled the paper into a ball. "Nope. Nope. Nope."
They threw it into a corner, where it sank into the floor.
A new paper fluttered from the ceiling.

𝚈𝚘𝚞 𝚑𝚊𝚟𝚎 𝚝𝚘 𝚝𝚊𝚕𝚔 𝚜𝚘𝚘𝚗 𝚘𝚛 𝚒𝚝'𝚜 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚃𝚞𝚗𝚗𝚎𝚕 𝚘𝚏 𝙻𝚘𝚟𝚎.
𝚆𝚒𝚝𝚑 𝙻𝚘𝚟𝚎,
𝙷𝚘𝚘𝚝𝚢
They'd put this off long enough. Raine stood up.
"Eda?"
She startled.
They opened their mouth and the words came tumbling out.
"I'm so sorry. I didn't think. I had a plan because of course I did, but I-I-was stupid. It was totally unfair to you and completely my fault....I shouldn't have kissed you. I understand if-if it's-if you never want to see me again, I-" They took a breath. "I'm sorry. You probably hate me, but...I just had to say sorry."
Eda stood up from the couch and crossed the room until she was in front of Raine.
They forced themselves to look up into her eyes.
"I could never hate you."
She sighed. "Titan I'm not good at this."
Eda seemed to struggle with what to say. Finally,
"I'm still in love with you." She said, much to Raine's surprise. "And, correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like you're in love with me."
Raine flushed, but nodded.
Eda offered them her hands.
Raine took them.
"While there are some things you could have done differently,"
Eda took a breath.
"I forgive you."
A weight lifted off of Raine's shoulders.
A door slammed open across the room, revealing a flight of stairs.
"We're free!" Eda said dramatically.
She kept a hold of Raine's hands.
In the warm glow of the chandelier, Eda's eyes turned liquid gold, and she looked beautiful.
"Can I kiss you?" Raine said suddenly.
Eda was silent.
SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT Raine thought, I came on too strong, too soon. FUCK. We LITERALLY just resolved some issues here and-
"I thought you'd never ask." Eda said and she pulled Raine close.
A/N
After a brief battle with Erato, the muse of romantic writing, I have defeated my writer's block and produced this.
I came up with that ending at 11pm and scribble it down in a notebook
