the evening is golden
just like your hair
sunflowers reach
up to the skies
its petals are soft
just like your eyes
roses in bushes
surrounding our spot
your presence is comforting
unlike my thoughts
dandelions are mesmerizing
like the way you look at me
but dandelions are not flowers
they are only weeds.
