Author's note:
Sorry if it's been a long time, I just had an hard time writing. Maybe I'm too lazy for this...

Yeah probably

But if I can sleep 4 hours for the sake of waking up at 6am, I can write a book

So... tell me what you think about this, tell me if I should change something, that would help a lot! Also, it's chapter 8 and they aren't even friends yet, when the fuck am I gonna make them kiss? Chapter 2910? Probably-

But because we all know you don't care about what I have to say, enjoy the chapter in peace ;)

Scar's POV
“So what do you do in your free time?” Grian asked

Things were getting weird. It was the second time I spoke to him and although he doesn't know it, I've been watching him for quite a while and I still can't figure him out. And I must say, this thing makes me want to know him more, to talk to him more, to understand him, to understand him by talking to him, not just by looking at him from afar. 'What if he's not a good person' I thought. I didn't care! I didn't have any friends anyway so I had nothing to lose, I certainly couldn't go to -1.

“I often play video games, especially Minecraft, I literally spend hours building” I said

"Really? I also spend quite a bit of time building, even if I get bored and never do the back"

“So… just do the front?”

"Yes"

“That's going to change soon.” I said in a playful but threatening tone at the same time

"Really?" He said chuckling

“SCAR! GRIAN! COME” Said Mr. Smith

"I think it's time to eat" The  avian said getting up

At that moment I saw his big wings. I'd seen them before of course, but now I looked closely. I wanted so much to pet them, but of course I couldn't, it would have been weird.
We made our way to the barbeque where, as we had arrived late, there were only hotdogs left.

“If you'd come earlier you'd have had more options” Mr. Smith said

"We know that" Grian said

Grian had made a big mistake.
He certainly didn't know what was about to happen, but I did, I had already understood how much this neighbor could be a thorn in my side.

“Young people like you are why nobody is happy with politicians and this is a perfect example! If they had come earlier you could have chosen and instead you were there talking. Plus, what kind of answer is 'We know'? You young people today only know how to get tattooed and listen to crap music! And let's not forget about the girls who walk around naked. You should apologize and respect your elders the same way you respect your country, plus..."

At that moment Grian took his hotdog and left. I stood there listening to his whole speech just to please him. After a while I apologized in the most respectful and false way I knew and went to sit next to Grian.

"How did it go?" He asked

"Better than I expected" I said as I finally started eating my hotdog

“What was I supposed to say?” Grian asked

"Something like, 'Sorry, next time we'll be more careful. We took neighborhood socializing very seriously and because of that we started talking even though I understand it was the wrong time. We apologize, sir.' He would have looked at us proudly and maybe even complimented us, but even an 'I'm sorry' was better than an 'We know.'” I said
