     Désiré

I didn't look back all through the rest of the class despite the fact that I felt the stare once in a while.

The bell finally rang signalling the end of the class and I couldn't be more excited.

I hurriedly stood up to leave the class before the hallway gets crowded. Looking at my schedule, I was to have Econs for the next class and I decided to follow the mini map attached to my schedule to find my class.

After what seems like hours of searching for my class, it came to no avail, the map certainly didn't do justice to itself like I thought it would or I was probably the one who sucked at these things . I then decided to ask someone for direction to save myself the stress, I then spotted a girl, she was of average height just a few inches taller than I am, she had this dark luscious long hair which stopped few inches below her shoulder, she was slender, a body which screamed 'model', her eyes were light brown in color and to crown it all, she had a face which seemed like she was going to be nice so I decided to try my luck.

"Umm, excuse me",I say and she looked away from whatever she was sorting in her locker to fully face me.

"Oh, hi, you must be the new student, how can I be of help to you?", She says and I can't help but wonder if the whole school knew I was new here, that would explain the stares I got from people when I walked passed them.

"Um, yes, I'm trying to locate Econs 101 and the map isn't doing much of justice to it",I say and she chuckles

" It's fine, I totally understand, the map can get a bit confusing at first and most especially if you aren't used to the layout of the school. You are in luck cause my class is alongside yours so I can show you, I'm Jessica by the way but you can call me jessie", she says with a smile.

" I'm Désiré".

" Désiré, nice name, am I allowed to call you Desire? ".

"Sure, no problem, that's pretty much what everyone calls me anyways, and oh I like your hair and the whole drama at the tip". I say voicing out my admiration at her hair, the way she mixed multiple colors together at the tip of her hair, curling it for emphasis and still managed to make it look brownish in order not to break the school's rules was actually amazing.

"Oh, thank you", she says blushing "you are actually one of the few people to acknowledge it, I like you too, you have this vibe and I totally dig it".

"Thanks",I reply with a smile.

"Are you with my note?", A voice says cutting off what Jessie wanted to say, looking back, I noticed that he was the same guy that was staring at me in class, I felt my heart involuntarily skip a bit and I couldn't help but look away before he caught me staring.

"Of course not, why would I be with your note?" Jessie finally answers the guy.

"Well, I can't find my Econs note".

"Them go look for it somewhere else, probably check your locker".

"Well genius, I already did, it's not there!"

"Well, I don't know where else ot could be, you probably left it at home or something".

" I guess you are right"

" Oh right, meet Désiré, the new student of our school, Désiré, meet my annoying and troublesome brother, Theodore".

" Hi",I say with a little voice getting a bit nervous

" Hi", he replies back in a thick masculine voice and I nearly died, I'm not the one to get all sappy with guys but with this guy over here, I almost lost my cool.

"This conversation was nice but I'm sorry it has to come to an end, Désiré and I have to get to class and we certainly do not want to be late, see you later loser", she says sticking her tongue at her brother before grabbing my shoulder and leading us towards the direction of our class. "I hope you find your note", she says over my shoulder looking back at her brother and I hear him mumble something incoherent.

On our way to class, I couldn't help but notice a few hints of resemblance between both siblings, both had dark black hair, the same somewhat pointed nose, full plump lips, not like I was staring at Theo's lips or anything,they also had the same smile.

"Here we are", Jessie announces cutting off my train of thought.

"Thank you so much, what class so you have now?"

"Accounting, alright I gotta go, see you later", she says with a wave before skipping towards the direction of her class.

"Um, okay, bye", I say and I can't help but feel a little bit of happiness, I actually made a conversation with someone and it didn't end badly as I thought, maybe this new school won't be bad after all. With a hint of confidence, I headed into the class, taking a seat at the middle area instead of the back, arranging my books to prepare for what this class held for me, my smile dissipated when I saw looked up and saw the biggest shock of my life.

2 chapters in one day!!!, Weeewww *wipes out imaginary sweat*

So honestly guys, this is my first book and they are bound to be some errors and mistakes but it only gets better I promise. So I wanted to ask honestly, do you guys like the book or not?.
