Not a Poem

Not a Poem

I curl up on the floor

and a tear rolls down my cheek.

I wipe it away

'Cause this is Not a Poem

My emotions bottled up

Drop by painful drop

It begins to overflow

'Cuase this is Not a Poem

The razor across my arm

Red on white

Warm and sticky liquid

'Cause this is Not a Poem

I try to stand

and fall again

Hitting the cool floor

'Cause this is Not a Poem

My breath is ragged

My face gone pale

And my words fail me

'Cause this is Not a Poem

I write this now

Ignore the blood stains

As I am too weak to wipe them away

Because this is Not a Poem
