Y/n's POV
I was talking to Brooke when I then see Jake, I tell Brooke to hold on and I get up and tried catching up to him
"Wait!!" He turns around and looks at me
"What?" He asked
"Um, I was wondering if you wanted to come over later?" I ask him
"I can't, remember, I'm sorry" he says, he then walks away, I groaned and walked back to Brooke
"What happened?" She asked
"Jake won't talk to me, all because of Jill" I say
"What did she do?" Brooke asked
"She told him not to talk to me because of Abby and her fight and she doesn't want him to talk to me because my mom is friends with Abby" I say, I then laid my head down on my arms
"I'm sorry" she says running my back, when school was over I walked home and was greeted by my mom outside
"Hi honey, how was school?" Mom said
"It was alright" I say
"Good, um so I'm going out with Greg, so I need you to watch Maddie and Mackenzie" she says
"Again?" I said
"It's only till midnight, I'll be here in the morning" she says
"Ok" I sighed
"I put a snack on the counter, so go ahead and eat some" I nod and walked in with mom following behind
"Uhm mom" I say putting my bag on the couch
"Yeah?" She asks
"Can you talk to Jill, because Jake is annoying me because of her and Abby's fight" I tell her
"Ok, I will" she says
"Thanks mom" I say
"Your welcome" she says, she kisses me on the head and went upstairs, I go in the kitchen and grabbed two cookies, I then go up to my room and I shut the door, I then sit on my bed and turned my TV on and turned on my favorite show.
An hour later
I go downstairs and walked outside and waited for Maddie and Mackenzie, while I was waiting I see Jake walking over to the house
"Hey Y/n" he says walking up the porch
"Hi" I say
"Uhm, so my mom walked to my room and told me I could talk to you again"
"Why?" I asked
"Because your mom talked to her" he says, I sighed in relief, just then I see Maddie and Mackenzie run over to the house
"Hey guys" I yell at them
"Hi" Maddie says, when they walked up the porch Mackenzie asks
"Who's this?"
"Oh uh, this is Jake Kendall's brother" I tell them
"Nice to meet you" Maddie and Mackenzie say together
"Nice to meet you both too" Jake says
"Would you like to come in?" I ask Jake
"Uh sure, if you don't mind"
"Not at all" I say smiling, he smiles back and we go inside
"Mom has a snack for both of you in the kitchen" I tell Maddie and Mackenzie, they nod and ran to the kitchen after taking their jacket and bookbag off
"I'm sorry for earlier" he says
"It's fine" I tell him, a while later I helped Mackenzie and Maddie with homework, and then we watched a movie in the living room with Jake.
An hour later Jake leaves and I start making dinner for Mackenzie and Maddie, when I finished I called in Maddie and MacKenzie, while we were eating I asked
"Are you two excited for competition this weekend?"
"Yeah" Maddie says
"What about you Mackenzie?"
"A little, my friends asked me if I wanted to come to a sleepover but I told them I have dance" she says
"It's alright" I tell her, when dinner was over Maddie and Mackenzie were playing on our dad's old PC while I was doing dishes, an hour later I finished up and then took Maddie and Mackenzie upstairs to get them ready for bed. After putting them to bed I get in the shower, when I finished I get dressed and then I do my skincare and brushed my teeth, when I finished I brushed my hair and then went to bed.
