Chapter 15

Season 2 episode 11

Y/n's POV

"C'mon ladies, let's go, get in here with those fabulous tans" Abby calls us in, after we line up she starts talking

"Wow, this mother association is dwindling to a trio, huh?"

"Holly's at work" mom says

"Of course. First, Nia, honey my heart stopped. You always think I'm the bad guy but I don't want any kid, even if it's not my student, to stop, I just don't want it to happen again and I don't think it should happen in the first place, your better than that. Moving on, Mackenzie. Mackenzie, there's some things to approve on. Next I have Brooke, I thought you did a great job. And next we have, Chloe, Chloe the solo was excellent however the trio was a little shaky. Next I have Y/n, you were excellent in the group dance, and I couldn't keep my eyes off you in that duo, you were amazing." In the corner of my eye I see that Kelly roll her eyes

"Next, Paige, you worked through the pain in your feet, even in the dressing room you should have had those feet up and icing them, you were doing the dance over and over. All right, at the top of the pyramid, Maddie, I challenged you to see if you could stay there for three weeks in a row and you did, I told you where those judges were, you never took your eyes off them. If you can get the judges to look you in the eye and suck them in, then you have them in the palm of your hand. Now, each and every one of you are very lucky little girls, you have beautiful homes, you have everything you need, some kids aren't that lucky, so our group routine is about a homeless child, there's also going to be a solo this weekend, Maddie you will be doing a solo, you better dance your heart out and dance your butt off. I have a trio this is a new trio and I am going to start mixing things up. So Chloe, your in the trio, Maddie your in the trio, and Nia your in the trio."

"Yay" we all say

"Nia, you have a lot to prove this week. If you don't keep up with Maddie and Chloe. All right, now listen closely, girls and moms I found out that we will be competing against Candy Apples in Chicago at Company Dance. But I'll tell you what, I am not going to lose to Kathy, or Jill, or Kendall, okay moms, thank you, your dismissed, you don't have any jobs to do." We then get started

"Girls spread apart, start stretching, Gianna's going to come in and we are starting the stance right now." After stretching Abby brings out a mat and then Gianna comes in and we start rehearsing the dance.

Three days till competition

Maddie, Chloe, and Nia were rehearsing their trio while me, Brooke, Paige, and Mackenzie were in Acro. When we were tumbling mom walks in and takes me and Mackenzie out, when me and Mackenzie were grabbing our stuff she goes to get Maddie, but when she came back Maddie wasn't with her, mom signs out and then she takes me and Mackenzie out

"What about Maddie?" Mackenzie asks

"Don't worry about her" mom says, when we got the car I go in the front and put my seatbelt on and then she drives off.

The next day

Mom decided to take us back so we go inside and went to the others, when I walked in Brooke gives me a hug, we then put our things away and then went to rehearsal.

In the middle of rehearsal

"GIRLS, WE HAVE TWO DAYS, TWO DAYS UNTIL COMPANY DANCE, THERE'S GOING TO BE EVERY AMAZING STUDIO IN THE MIDWEST IS GOING TO BE THERE. Do you understand that? Come on, let's get to it" we then start rehearsing the dance again.

Afterwards

"I better see a homeless child that hasn't eaten, that hasn't bathed, in that box, act it out and they get you and they befriend you and they help you and they clean you up, come around, you dance with the girls and at the end what do we see another homeless child because the problem still exists, so think about that when you're in your own bedroom tonight going to sleep in your big beautiful house, yes, all right" Abby then sends us to tap class so Maddie could learn her solo.
