"R...r-ready or not...! Here I c-come.!" Basil's wobbly voice calls out. He looks, shivering.
"𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮."
"Huh?!" He hears a cracky girl's voice and turns around quickly, gazing his eyes over the playground.
"Wha...." He stares at the ground, trying to calm himself down.
"It's okay... everything is going to be okay." The one phrase that gave him comfort.
But it also made him terribly sick, hearing that come from his own mouth.
Why...E-
His thoughts get interrupted by the crunching of leaves and whispering voices. He forgets what he was going to think.
Damn it... ugh. I probably should go over there.

Of course, it was Kel. He was hiding behind a tree, (definitely not super obvious) and his orange hood poked out. Apparently he'd stepped on a leaf.
"Ugh! Damnit! I really tried this time!" He giggled, not upset at all. Basil looked him up and down. "You haven't changed one bit." Basil smiles, but he doesn't share the same reaction. He kicks a rock stuck in the ground, mumbling to himself.
"ⁱᶠ ʸᵒᵘ ʳᵉᵃˡˡʸ ᵏⁿᵉʷ ʸᵒᵘ ʷᵒᵘˡᵈⁿ'ᵗ ˢᵃʸ ᵗʰᵃᵗ"
"Huh? Did I say something wrong?"
Kel's expression immediately changes to a lighter one. "Nope! You're good!!" Kel then pats him on the back and walks past him. "Let's find the rest, shall we?"
Basil nods.
What was that?

Slowly, they find everyone else. Everyone that has been found huddles near the north entrance. Mari grins as the group walk by.
Lastly, finding Hero and Aubrey.
Kel dramatically overturns rocks and shakes trees, seeing if they can find more people. (Not doing a good job, but my boi trying)
"Dang, they're good at this." Kel adds, following Basil around. He's holding the knife tightly.
He didn't like this. Something felt.. off.. well, as off as it was going to be in this world.
They stay close together, and finally seeing some brown spiky hair poking out of the bushes. Kel spots it and lets out a quiet, mischievous chuckle. He sneaks up in front of him, and pulls out a few strands of his own hair, making a ball. He holds it up in pride.
"Oh no...! Where'd the spider go? I saw it go in that direction...!" He says sarcastically, throwing the ball of hair into the bush.
They both hear a loud, high pitched scream come from the bush. Hero stumbles out of it and lands head first on the ground, getting dirt in his eye.
"AH! WHAT THE HELL-" He rubs his eyes and turns around to see the pathetic ball of hair behind him. Kel bursts out laughing, while Hero looks at him with an pissed expression.
"Hahaha. Very funny." Hero gets up and brushes off his pants. Mari is also laughing, but it's much quieter. But Hero turns towards her anyway.
"Ugh... not you too..."
"Hehe ^^" she covers her mouth.

"Damn, I didn't know Aubrey was a pro at hide and seek." Kel adds, after the three of them looked around the playground at least five times.
