"Why'd you want me here?" Hero lays down on the picnic blanket.
"Oh, nothing important." She smiles, sitting down next to him, legs crossed.
"But, you pulled me aside out of everyone. There must be a reason."
"... oh, you're so smart, Hero." Mari holds out her hand, reaching for his face.
"Hero... can I ask you something?"
"Sure?"
"Do you like me?"
"Huh?" Hero doesn't move when she rubs her fingers against his cheeks.
"You've been eyeing me all this time. I know you."
Hero stares at the pulsating ceiling.
"I know you want me... but I can't have you."
"?" Hero, who was just flat out lost, looks up at Mari.
"My heart is for someone else."
"Who would that be?"
"B-"
Suddenly, she cries out in pain, and Hero sits up in surprise.
"Woah! Are you okay??" He glares at her hand, which started bleeding randomly.
"Yeah..." Mari sucks air through her teeth, grabbing bandages from her basket and wrapping it.
"Yikes... want me to help? I'm... a..." He sits there, forgetting what he was gonna say.
"No no, I'm okay."
They stare at each other awkwardly.
But for some reason...
Hero didn't like this anymore.
Anymore...?

After solving the puzzle, Basil walks through the teleporter, leading back to where the rest of the group was.
"I'm the last one here?" He points at himself.
"I just got here a few minutes ago." Aubrey says, sort of half assed.
"Yeah, and that's just cause you couldn't figure out your puzzle!" Kel snarks, while Aubrey hisses, "You literally came a second before I did."
"Guys, guys..." Hero sighs.
Basil looks at everyone, and catches his eye on something.
Mari's hand. It's... bandaged? He was sure it wasn't before.
"... we have to move, let's disable the bomb." Basil scowls, going back up the ladder.
"But Basil! We were just having a friendly conversation! Why don't you-"
"WHY DONT YOU GO-... *inhale* look. We're on a time crunch, we all should know this."
Everyone glares at each other in confusion.
"We aren't though?" Kel cocks his head.
"... look in your pocket, Kel."
Kel does just that.
"There's nothing besides Hector...?"
Basil scoffs, "just great." He climbs back down the ladder, shoving his hand into his own pocket.
