(The pacing will be a tad off at the beginning.)

Twenty years ago, many events unfolded, but one occurrence that went unnoticed by the press and news reports was the emergence of the mutant Ninja Turtles who, in the subsequent years, would save the world from chaos and countless wars.

However, during those initial years, their paternal figure, Sensei Splinter, had an unexpected visitor. A baby girl had somehow found her way into the sewer system. No matter how many times the wise mutated rat returned her to her world, she always managed to find her way back to him.

Call it divine intervention, but as she continued to inadvertently return to him, he decided to train her separately from his boys. His policy remained consistent though—he would always send her back to the surface.

By the age of five, she had made her way back to the sewers approximately seventy-four times. He often allowed her to stay with them for short periods, never introducing her to his sons. This routine continued until Michelangelo stumbled upon her during her training one day. Sworn to secrecy, he couldn't help but spill the beans.

"Guys! Master is training a new girl! We're getting a new friend!"

"Mikey, calm down. Are you sure it's not just the TV again?" One of the turtles spoke while practising with a katana. Another was struggling to fit a large pair of glasses on his head, and the third was groaning on his stomach, bored and disinterested. He perked up at his younger brother's announcement. "Haha, Mikey has got an imaginary girlfriend."

"No! She's real! Her name is Y/n, and she is—"

"Imaginary, Mikey. Imaginary," the turtle with the katana sighed, dropping his pose and turning to the youngest freckled mutant.

"Well, she's real! Come meet her!" All of them turned toward the youngest turtle before rushing over, eager for company beyond their siblings.

Mikey led them through the tunnels until they reached a familiar room. They piled on top of each other, ears pressed against the door, only to hear Splinter's voice, "Very good. But you boys need to learn to be quieter."

He swung open the door, causing the four turtles to tumble into the room. They stared up at their father figure, frozen in embarrassment.

"I swear she was real," Mikey protested, but Splinter arched an eyebrow. "Who was real, Michelangelo?"

"I knew he was making it up," the turtle with glasses said, shaking his head and dusting himself off.

Splinter's expression softened as he looked at his young turtles in the awkward pile on the floor. "Michelangelo, whom were you talking about?"

Mikey glanced at his brothers, untangling themselves, before hesitantly replying, "Y/n. She's the girl Sensei's been training. She's real, I promise!"

The turtles exchanged skeptical glances. The turtle with glasses spoke again, his annoyance evident. "Mikey, we trust you, but you can't just invent stories."

"Come, my sons. You have a busy day ahead. Let's return to the main room."

As Splinter led them away, Leonardo couldn't shake a feeling of unease. He hesitated for a moment before following his brothers, casting one last suspicious glance around the room. There was an odd energy in the air, hinting that there was more to this situation than they understood.

Y/n, hidden beneath a tarp on the wall, held her breath, heart racing. She had managed to stay concealed during the turtles' unexpected entrance, but Leonardo's lingering gaze sent a shiver down her spine.

Once the room quieted, Y/n cautiously emerged. She looked around, making sure the coast was clear. The room was dimly lit, old training equipment scattered around
