I recently read that your 20's are for making mistakes. And I started to think about all my peers, family, friends, and other who've made mistakes and been annihilated for them.
20's are no longer your years for making mistakes. No time is for making mistakes anymore. If you make one mistake, likelihood is it's online forever and ever.
If you make ONE fuck up.
ONE mistake.
ONE misstep.
You're gone.
Gone are the days of three strikes and you're out. Gone are the times where a slap on the wrist would mean a lesson learnt.
Here are the days of forever guilt, paranoia and dread.
Nothing is forever until you make a mistake. Then forever is nothing without it.
