Sometimes the people you find it most difficult to talk to about anything serious, can flip a switch in their brain and suddenly be incredibly caring and thoughtful.
I'm not sure what causes this switch, but there is a slight glow behind their eyes when it happens. Perhaps there's a little person in their heads pressing a button like in Inside Out.
Or maybe it's just their heart taking the steering wheel away from their genitals, or whatever else they might be thinking with.
Whatever it is, the ultimate outcome from a conversation with anyone like that, no matter what they've said previously, will always be love.
