"Don't do that again Katie huh?" She told Katie once they are inside Liam's car.

"But, ate Nadia looks like you Mommy! She looks mabait naman po." The little girl answered from the backseat.

"I know anak, pero what if sa susunod hindi na mabait ang makilala mo?" Buong pag-a-alala niyang tanong dito.

"Okay Mommy, I'm sorry. I won't do it again, don't be sad na? Please?" Sagot pa ni Katie and she couldn't help but melt at the way Katie looks at her.

"Okay, I won't be sad na but promise me you will never do it again okay?" She asked her daughter who is now smiling from ear to ear.

"I promise Mommy." Katie answered and pecked her on the cheek.

Then the whole ride was silent.

She fidgeted on her seat, noticing how Liam's face is unreadable. She knows she got to prepare herself for an explanation.

When the car stopped, she found a familiar house in front of them.

She creased her brows and looks at Liam.

"Ihahatid lang natin si Katie bago tayo umuwi." He answered before opening the car door, leaving her inside.

She quickly followed and opened the door for her daughter.

"Mommy, am I not going to sleep in our house again?" Naiiyak na tanong na naman ni Katie.

She doesn't know how to answer that, for if she were to be honest, she wanted to bring Katie home with her and just cuddle with her, but she knew she needed to be apart from her daughter for a reason.

She got to trust herself that comes the end of the month, she'll have answer to all the why's and how's she have.

"I'm sorry anak." Is all she can say before Katie cried and ran inside the house.

She ran after her but Liam stops her.

"Let me talk to her." Awat nito sa kanya at umiiyak na sumunod na lang siya dito.

Liam followed Katie to the second floor, which she assumed to be where Katie's bedroom is.

She sat down on the sofa to wait for Liam to come back, hopefully with Katie.

She roamed her eyes around the living room and noticed that almost nothing has changed.

There's still the same pictures on display, only the family picture now includes her and Katie.

"It's beautiful isn't it?" She was startled by the voice that she missed so much.

"Mama Lena!" She said and stands up from her seat.

She didn't wait for her to come closer as she crossed their distance almost instantly and wraps the old woman in a hug which Elena Muhlach reciprocated.

"Dry your tears Agatha Mnemosyne. Hindi kita pinalaking mahina." The Muhlach matriarch said in firm voice.

She immediately wiped her tears away as the older woman guided her to sit back down.

"What did I always tell you Agatha?"

"That tears will solve nothing Mama." She answered, willing herself not to tear up again.

If Sixto Muhlach was gentle on her, Elena Muhlach is the opposite, she always give her and Liam tough love.

They were never babied by Elena, she was the one who taught them to be strong, to always brave every storm that comes their way.

"Right, how are you doing anak?" She then asked and again, Agatha cried.

She cannot count anymore at how much she had cried for one day.
