🪄Y/N🪄
~Halloween Night~

In between my dream lessons and my waking ones, I've kept hearing someone's voice beckoning me promising me that I won't be in pain anymore.

I told Salazar about it and he told be that our basilisk forms susceptible to suggestions by parselmouth and that I had to keep my guard up. Once I told Severus and my court, we've made sure that I wasn't alone when I heard the voice... until now.

Sir Nicholas invited Harry, Hermione and Neville to his Death day party while the Weasley twins were serving detention with Filtch. Cedric and everyone else was still trying to find a translation spell on the book that they've been working last year. So no one was with me when the voice started speaking again as I made my way from the lake in my Artemis costume.

After last Halloween, we've decided to dress up every year for fun even if we weren't together.

"Come to me, my dear and the pain you've suffered shall end. I can help you, I can heal you," the voice purred and memories flashed once again.

It would be so easy to give into that voice, especially when the only joys of this world is my court and my loved ones. Everyone in this school hates me, even if they don't say it to my face and before I knew it, I was shaken awake by my brother.

"(Y/N), are you ok," he asked me as he helped my sit up. Harry was wearing his costume as Apollo, the Sun God to the Moon Goddess.

"Where am i? All i remember was heading to the Great Hall for the feast," I mumbled as a wave of dizziness wash over me. My fake bow was nowhere to be seen but I didn't mind, not when I don't remember how I ended up on the ground in the first place.

"You're in the hallway," Neville says but Hermione was stiff still staring behind us then I noticed the blood smell.

Slowly I turned to see the bloody message on the wall, The Chamber of Secrets has been opened, Enemies of the heirs, beware. And to emphasize on that statement, hang by her tail was a petrified Mrs. Noris.

"Shit," i hissed as the halls filled with students from the feast, gasping with horror at the sight.

Draco and the rest of my court pushed through the crowds to get to me but paled at the message in blood.

""Enemies of the heir, beware." Sound like something a hateful snake would write," Ron spat at me and I began to tremble in horror.

What did I do?

Harry held me tightly and hummed the lullaby from first year to me which calmed my nerves slightly but it didn't last long. Filtch went on a rampage when he saw Ms. Noris and us, threatening to kill us for what we did.

"That's enough," a powerful voice says and everyone turned to find Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall standing amongst the students. "She's not dead, Argus. She has been Petrified."

Heading this, Lockhart began boasting about how he could've prevented this with a countercurse... the fucking idiot. You can't use a countercurse on petrifications without killing the target of said petrification, it's in Counters and Alternate Bindings 101.

"Ask those trouble makers," Mr. Filtch snarls pointing at us. "They've done it."

"Don't accuse us, we adore Ms. Noris," I growled. "She watches over Nico when he decides to wander while I'm in class. We give her treats and love everytime we see her."

"I can confirm that," Severus says shocking some of the teachers. "Whenever (Y/N) and her court come across Ms. Noris that treat her with such care, you would think she belong to the court."

At this, Filtch looks at me with something similar to kindness but Dumbassdor cleared his throat.

"And where was the court when this happened, I didn't see you all at the feast?"

"Fred and I was with Filtch serving detention," George answered.

"We were with Cedric for tutoring," Blaise half lies as smoothly as honey.

"And you four," Dumbledore asked us and I had to school my features to hide my terror.

"They were with me at Sir Nicholas's 300th Death Day party," a familiar voice says and it took everything in me not to sag with relief as Moaning Myrtle floated up from the ground. "Sir Nicholas personally invited Harry, Hermione and Neville while I asked (Y/N) because she's my only friend who cares. They were on their way back to the feast when (Y/N) fainted I mean look at her, she look like she could be sharing my toilet any moment."

While I was flattered that she offered me a spot in her haunted toilet, I'd rather haunt Snape's potions class that a toilet.

"Maybe it's because of the Nargles," a blonde haired Ravenclaw student says earning groans of annoyance from her housemates.

"Probably," I replied to her with a kind smile and her eyes cloud over briefly. A seer?

"Tomorrow we can discus the Crumpled-Horn Snorkacks," she says before looking away quickly but I felt a strong need to protect her... and from the look on my twin's face he did too.

I quickly signed when she looked back at me, "My court is open to you, little Dove."

The Ravenclaw girl smiled brightly at me and soon we were all dismissed, Severus offering to bring the rest of us dinner as we made our way to the chamber of secrets.

"What happened," Severus asks politely and calmly and I told him about the voice calling to me and how I woke up to Harry shaking me.

"It would appear that you've fallen under the parselmouth's suggestion," Blaise says voicing the thought I hoped was wrong.

"Shit," i hissed as I tried and failed to fill in the blanks in my memory. "I was too reckless... I've should've insisted that one of you should stay with me. I could've killed someone."

Daphne pulled me into a tight hug as panic tried to cloud my mind. It was an accident that I couldn't control... I knew that but it doesn't make it less terrifying.

"We should get some rest," Draco says as he kisses my brother gently. "Unless you want to talk to your parents tonight."

"I think that's a better idea," I said after Daphne ends the hug.

Harry decided that he'll cast the summoning spell for me since my emotions were all over the place.
