Jeong Hoon's POV

I couldn't sleep.

I was tossing and turning as these overwhelming and exhilarating feelings consumed my mind.

The warmth of a smile spread across my face as I replayed the events of earlier in my mind, relishing in the joy they brought. However, a pang of sadness washed over me as I thought about my sister knowing that she loves him and he loves her. It was a complicated mix of emotions.

I decided to message him.

The Next Day

I was waiting for Min Joon to go to school as I caught sight of Min Joon, my heart skipped a beat. He exuded an undeniable radiance that drew everyone's attention. Today, he looked exceptionally dashing, like a vision came to life.

A wave of excitement washed over me as he greeted me with a warm smile. My cheeks flushed, and I couldn't help but grin uncontrollably, feeling a surge of happiness deep within.

"Hi," I squeaked, my voice betraying my nervousness.

Min Joon's caring nature shone through as he noticed my flushed face and gently placed his hand on my forehead.

"You have a fever?" he asked, genuine concern etched on his face.

Surprised by his attentiveness, I stammered, "I do?"

Without hesitation, Min Joon swiftly dialed his mom's number, informing her of my condition. In no time, his mom insisted on speaking to me directly.

"Do you need to go to the hospital? I can take a day off to bring you," she offered, displaying her motherly concern.

Grateful for her kindness, I replied, "No worries, Teacher. I'm just feeling a bit stuffy, but I should be fine with some rest."

As Min Joon and I shared a lighthearted moment, I couldn't help but let out a chuckle. His mom's playful concern added a touch of warmth to the conversation.

Min Joon playfully teased, "I can hear you, you know. Mom."

We both laughed, enjoying the banter. Mrs. Do's laughter echoed through the phone as she said, "Hahahahaha, update me on Jeong Hoon's condition. Take good care of him."
