HANDS DEATHLY TIGHT AROUND the steering wheel of his and Pat's car, white-knuckled, plastic squeaking in protest beneath his unforgiving grip, Pran ignores everyone spitting insults and curses at him as he weaves in and out of the too slow moving traffic. He is far too frantic to give a fuck about the danger he is putting the people around him in, attention laser-focused on getting to him before it's far too late.
