~~Melody's POV~~
I woke up still in Avi's arms like how I fell asleep. I looked around and saw everyone except Kirstie was up and around. I slowly peeled Avi's arms off of me careful not to wake him up. I got up and saw Kevin making pancakes. I snuck up behind him and jumped up.
"OH my word! You scared me!" He laughed.
"Whatcha doing?" I asked him as I climbed up onto the counter.
"Making breakfast." He laughed.
We sat and talked for awhile. Soon I saw Mitch and Scott walk into the kitchen.
"Hey Kev I am making a starbucks run want anything?" Scott asked.
"Uh sure! You know my order right?" He asked while flipping a pancake.
"Yeah I do. Hey Mel good morning! You want anything?" He asked me.
"What's starbucks?" I asked.
Mitch gasped dramatically and pretended to pass out. I laughed.
"You don't know what starbucks is?" Scott asked just as shocked as Mitch.
"Nope." I replied popping the 'p'.
"It's a coffee place." Kevin said with a giggle.
"It's THE coffee place." Mitch added.
"Okay, can I come with Scott?" I asked.
"Of course lets go!" He said coming over and offering me a piggy back ride.
We walked out of the house and got into his car.
"Hey Scott, you guys mentioned you are a singing group. Can I hear some of your songs?" I asked.
"Yeah sure!" He said grabbing his phone and began playing a song.
I began to listen to the words. Wow they were really good!
A light in the room
It was you who was standing there
Tried it was true
As your glance met my stare.
But your heart drifted off
Like the land split by sea
I tried to go, to follow,
To kneel down at your feet
It was so pretty!
"Wow you guys are so talented!" I told Scott.
A huge smile appeared on his face.
"Thank you Mel!" He replied.
We finally arrived at Starbucks and Scott carried me on his back in the store. He put me down and helped me decide what to get. He told me since I was just a kid I should get a frappe with no coffee in it. I ended up getting a vanilla bean frappe.
While waiting for our drinks something really weird happened. A couple of teenage girls ran up to Scott begging him for a picture.
"HI Scott! Can we please get a picture??" One of the girls asked.
"Yeah sure!" He said cheerfully.
They took a picture and the girls ran off squealing.
"What was that?" I asked him confused.
"So our music group has a pretty big following and sometimes we run into our fans in public." He replied.
"Scott!" The Starbucks employee called out.
We walked up to the counter and grabbed all the drinks and carried them out to the car. Once we sat down He turned and handed me my drink.
"Okay try it out." He said smiling like a fool.
