The way she was looking up at me... I'd never felt something this unique before. It was like she could actually see me. I tightened my hold on her, squeezing her gently against my body as a reminder that this woman was real and in my arms right now, captivating and interesting and staring at my lips like she needed them on hers.

A muffled cough broke the enchantment we were wrapped up in. It was Yu-Jin, but it was over just as quickly as he started. Then nothing again.

"Seo Changbin..." She whispered, my name hanging in the air, anticipating what was next. Just hearing her say it so softly was such a contrast to what I'd grown accustomed do from friends and fans, and it made the backs of my knees feel like jelly. How could two simple words from her mouth carry so much power over me?

I could barely get the answer out. "Yes?"

A swift shyness colored her features, something I was all too familiar with. "Thank you."

If I didn't quickly shut down my mindscreen and the reel of possible outcomes of where we could go from here, it would be very obvious to her what my body was considering regarding her. It wanted her. I wanted her. It was becoming more and more clear the longer I held her. But, not tonight. We'd just met and started to get to know each other. I'm not a one night stand kind of guy, and with how easy it was to talk with her tonight, I was itching for more time.

"Would you and Yu-Jin like to have dinner with me again tomorrow?" I threw the question out there in hopes that she would be feeling the same thing as me.

Her eyes widened and a tentative smile played across her mouth—those beautiful lips that I wanted right then. "Yes, I would."

I could feel my smile taking over my whole face, resulting in her surprised smile and light laugh.

"Are you that excited about it?" She asked me, her voice decorated with little laughs, which made me smile harder.

I scrunched my nose and grinned widely. "Yes."

There was a sweet and content transformation of her whole being right then, like a weight was being lifted off her from her head to her toes. "Good," she said. "Me too."

I hugged her to me one more time then regretfully pulled away, taking a step back and shoving my hands in my pockets. "I should be going so you can get some rest." Walking toward her front door, I checked, "You saved my number, right?" She nodded. "Okay. My day isn't as full tomorrow, so I'll be home early afternoon. What time do you expect to be home?"

We reached her door, and she answered me as I was opening it. "I'll be back close to 6."

"Excellent." I nodded and made to step out of the doorway, but I almost collided with another man who was standing dangerously close to my face.

"Who the fuck are you?!" He pointed his finger at me accusingly and tilted his clearly drunk head to the side. He reeked of alcohol.

"Excuse me?" Reflexively, my hand reached up and grasped his finger and twisted it away in a defensive move, causing this drunk man to nearly crumple in front of me.
