Chapter 14

Lucy made her way inside the Salvatore school, looking around for a certain Auburn-haired girl. "Landon, have you seen Hope?" she asked as she spotted Landon and Rafael sitting down on a couch.

Landon looked at her confused, since when has Lucy ever talked to him and Rafael? "Uhh, I think she's-" he began but got cut off by Hope walking toward Lucy and wrapping her arms around the raven-haired girl.

Hope looked up at Lucy with a huge smile, "Hi, I've missed you" she said, Lucy couldn't help but let her eyes soften at the sight, "I missed you too, sorry I took so long my brother can be quite annoying."

Hope smirked sliding her hand up Lucy's body and ignoring everyone who was staring, "Hope I think we should go somewhere more private," Lucy told the shorter girl who immediately pulled away. Lucy was never the type to shy away from the crowds, she loved to show affection, to show everyone that Hope belonged to her and only her.

Lucy noticed this and tried to explain, "I need to talk to you, in private."

Hope's eyes narrowed but nonetheless, she grabbed Lucy's wrist and began dragging her. Lucy followed with her eyes narrowed in confusion. Both Landon and Rafael looked at each other confused, Landon couldn't help but think Hope had been acting weird and Lucy well something in his head told him that something was wrong.

Lucy allowed Hope to drag her to her room. As soon as they were in, she closed the door and did not waste any time before the shorter girl pulled Lucy into a kiss.

The Raven-haired girl kissed her back for a while before she pulled away. Ignoring the frown that settled on her face, Lucy spoke, "Love, I need to tell you something it's about-"

"Before that, can I ask you something?" Hope interrupted her, "We should do a talent." Lucy furrowed her brows in confusion, "A what?"

"Yeah! I never wanted to before because I would've had to do it alone." She brushed a strand of his hair away from his forehead, "but now I have you. And we make up our own faction, the tribrid, and the devil."

"I-sure, why not," Lucy agreed "Team other." Hope was surprised how Lucy just agreed like that so fast but she ignored the feeling and smiled, pressed a quick kiss to her lips, as Hope walked out of the room and the raven-haired girl followed.

As Hope walked side by side with an arm around Lucy she saw Lizzie and Josie standing in front of Rafael and Landon who were seated where they previously were.

"Good morning, Rafael," Lizzie smiled at the werewolf who said, "Hi. Uh, How your- your trip?"

"Excellent, thank you," Josie responded, "more than excellent because I didn't have to see Lucy's annoying face," Lizzie smirked.

"Oh my dear Lizzie, you know you missed me," Lucy shot her a grin, making Lizzie roll her eyes, "like I would ever miss you."

"Alright, that's enough," Josie intervened, "Welcome back Landon." she smiled at Landon who scoffed, "Didn't you vote me out?"

"That's all in the past," Lizzie said, "now is everyone as excited as I am about tonight?"

"What's happening tonight?" Landon questioned, furrowing his brows in confusion and curiosity.

Hope laughed, "The school's annual talent show. All the factions complete." She explained, looking at the twins, "You know, the witch performance wouldn't be the same without you two."

They smiled while Josie said, "Thank you."

Just then, a music chime was heard as Alaric spoke up in the mic from his office, "If I could have your attention. Last night we were able to capture a monster here on the grounds. We have everything under control. But given this potential danger, it is with a heavy heart that I must postpone the talent show."
