Facing the past Together

Author note, and apology

Hi everyone,

This is going to all my current works so for those who read more than one of my stories (if you still do) will see this more than once.

So I know it has been a while, and I don't have much of an excuse. I want to apologise and try to give some form of an explanation.

so about 2 years ago when I stopped updating all of my stories, I had stopped using Wattpad altogether, I don't really like the platform anymore and have been reading on AO3 even before I completely stopped using this app.
I was still updating even after I had stopped reading because I love writing, always have.
the reason I stopped updating is mostly because I moved with my family and my dad was consistently away for work only being back for 1 day a week. so I was helping my mum with my sister. On top of that studying online uni.
when I was starting to type up some new chapters for a couple of the stories I got a new job.
that job I loved the people but it took its tole and I was doing nearly 60 hours a week,

So I'm not saying any of this as an excuse, just as an apology and an explanation.

I have not given up on these stories and I want to continue writing them, I'm sorry to say though it wont be on this platform, I will be transferring them onto AO3 (Archive of our own). what has been written will be posted on that platform today or tomorrow. Facing the past together will take a bit longer as I will be switching it back to Hiccup/Astid as with the story the way it original was did sit right with what I was trying to do, or I may just make it that there is no ship I haven't decided yet.

Some of the other stories have an update in the works and with how much free time I now have I will be updating fairly regularly and that is a promise. I'm disappointed in myself that it has taken me this long and again I apologise.

When this Author note is posted it may still be an hour or two before I get the first chapter copied over of each book to the other platform, so down below is my user name on AO3 and if you want to find me your more than welcome to keep an eye out.

I am sorry for disappointing everyone with both how long it has taken me to say anything along with this news.

I hope you continue to have a great day/night even after this announcement.
