She's supposed to wear dresses,
He's supposed to wear suits,
But what if she wants trousers,
What if he wants skirts,
Maybe she wants short hair,
Maybe he wants long,
So why do people tell them,
Wanting that is wrong,
She's supposed to be dainty,
He's supposed to 'man up',
But she wants to play football,
And he wants to dress up,
She should be able to take off her dresses,
And run around in shorts,
He should be allowed to grow long hair,
He doesn't want it cut,
She's supposed to wear all pink,
He's supposed to wear blue,
She hates what she's supposed to be,
And, he hates it too.
