She cries into her pillow,
When no one's there to hear,
But around others she smiles,
And never sheds a tear.
They all think she's happy,
Only she knows she's not,
Maybe she's a good actress,
Or they just don't look hard enough.
Just the shell of a person,
As, inside, she dies,
She can't wait to be back in her room,
Where she cries and cries.
She's paranoid of them knowing,
She's not as perfect as she seems,
She hides her scars and fakes a smile,
As, inside, she screams.
