One on one side, one on the other,
A whole war in between them,
Forced to fight for their lives,
Though they were only boys, not full grown men.

One was fighting since his birth,
People called him the saviour,
One forced to fight by his family,
He was seen as a failure.

One child's parents fought for the wrong,
To keep themselves alive,
The other's parents tried to fight back,
But, in the end, they died.

The two children were rivals,
After a crucial handshake gone wrong,
But both were saved in different ways,
Once the war was won.
