Also this doesn't follow episode 8 it's kinda a free write.

"You nervous?" I asked hugging Jake from behind.

"Just a bit. But that's nothing the great chaos can't handle right?" He asked finishing up dinner.

"You didn't have to cook, you know?" I replied.

"I figured it would leave a better impression." He stated turning around to face me.
"They will love you."
"I sure hope so.

About a half n hour later my parents got home from work.

"Jake right?" My dad shaking his hand.
"Yeah that's right." Jake said nervously shaking his hand.
"So tell me about yourself"
"I work at the round up and just recently got promoted." Jake said.
"You didn't tell me that?" I said looking at my boyfriend with confusion.

"Sorry, I thought I did." He said.

Jake lead my parents and sister into the dinning room.

"I've been told cooking is how I win you over so I tried my best." He said pulling out my chair for me.
My mom laughed.
"Y/n taught you well." My dad replied.
"Ofc I did." I replied.

Jake talked more about his family.
"What has y/n told you about us?" My mom asked raising her eyebrow.

"Not much really. Only good things." Jake said covering for me.
He moved his right hand under the table.
I slipped my hand over his and smiled at him.

"Good."
"What about your siblings? Do you have any?" My  sister telling I was uncomfortable.
"I have a sister and brother. Amy and Colby." Jake said quickly adding "but obviously I'm the only decent one."

"That's right. Amy is one of y/ns friends, right?"

"Yeah she is. You guys have met her before. She's the mean one" I replied.
Faith laughed.

"Yeah, you get used to it tho." Jake said smiling.
"The food is delicious. You did a great a job, Jake." My dad said smiling.

As the night came to an end, my parents couldn't hide their approval any longer. "Jake, it was so wonderful meeting you. You're truly a perfect match for our Y/N," my mom said, giving him a warm hug.

Jake smiled and replied, "Thank you so much for your kind words. Y/N means the world to me, and I'm grateful to have met both of you."

I couldn't help but feel a sense of relief and happiness. Jake had won over my parents with his charm and genuine personality.
I knew he would.
I just hope they never find out he's chaos
